The way I read this is he will not return until all his appeals have been sorted with the FL so that leeds united do not receive any punishment by association. After all this (assuming his appeals are successful which I kinda doubt will happen) he will return to Leeds. Dunno, that's just the way I see this happening in his mind.
Cellino will not give up LUFC. Would've been working on it for a while with his lawyers and they decided the best course of action. I'm willing to be he still exerts control, Eleanora Sports and Eleanora Imobillia are the biggest shareholders, Cellinos not the type to just sit at home watching Leeds on goggle box, he has to be involved, it's his way. Eventually he's going to take on the FL in the UK courts, not the FA courts; if he wins his appeal/s in Italy he'll win his case against the FL, then I suspect big compensation payout by the FL. Was mentioned not to long ago, by Bates himself that someone paid 8 mill for some shares, but Bates didn't know who, then up popped Eleanora imobillia. Could it be Cellino is playing Bates at his own game, who knows. I think he's got all his bases covered, Harvey may well be upset at the news, but also crapping in his trousers, I hope so. Bates wouldn't be feeling to healthy either. Just after his loss to the FL, it was mentioned Cellino didn't have to sell his shares, after all, the FL can't go after someone who doesn't own the majority stake in the club, now can they. Was also mentioned that Cellino only owned 30% of the shares owned by Eleanora Sports, meaning the FL can't touch him in regards to the FPP test. The statement mentioned nothing about Cellino, or Eleanora Sports selling up.
Great summary I believe. Would just love to see MC take the FL to the cleaners. Would be nearly as good as promotion
I told you this last month - his attempted embezzlement charge over the Cagliari Stadium has been changed to actual embezzlement after new evidence was uncovered. Sounds like they have him bang to rights and he will probably do time if guilty - this will be an unspent conviction for either 7 or 10 years depending on what sort of deal he does with the Italians. The FL were all over this ages ago - they knew, they tried to warn him, but he threw in his money anyway. Also - why do you think Bates is still sniffing around the place - he will get his club back
Maybe you will be proved right, but what cheers me up is we'll probably still be in the Championship and the Wall won't be. I see the natives are getting restless with Hollowhead...
You might be, but with GFH resuming the day-to-day running of the club, can you be certain you will get to the end of the season without administration?
Erm, that's not strictly true. With Cellino out of the picture the two gfh directors will potentially have more influence, nut David Haigh has started court proceedings in a private prosecution in the UK. If successful the Arabs will be arrested if they come to the UK or eu.
& on the cheap. He will shaft GFH over big time once he gets the rest (and he will) - Maybe administration and **** off with your £20M debt - stick it up your camels - I would love this to happen as I'm sure most of you do
Yet you would rather have bates, gfh, Cellino, haigh and Harvey than JB who has decided to stop pretending to be interested....
JB was there yesterday with some yank called Stephen Ross & his 2 daughters - lots of talk about JB selling to them Not sure who they are yet!!
Oh dear..... Trying to sell and Hollowhead lets the team capitulate... Presume this Ross bloke is looking at buying the leased land your bought ground sits on with a view to building a housing estate and charlton a new ground. He won't be interested in buying the ****e that Hollowhead and Lomas has turned you into.
Keep up Jocko - Cellino and his family are walking away - and he still owes GFH 70% of his original purchase - If he doesn't pay up (and why would he when he's walking away) under the terms of the sale, they get the shares back and control of the club
That won't happen, Elanora holdings will sell on their interest to a well known energy drink manufacturer. The offer is already on the table and has been since November. It was dependant on staying up. When it happens remember who told you.
Cellino has already sold his interest (the initial £7M payment at a considerable loss) He is no longer part of Elanora - he has walked away after getting back what he put in once you include the McCormack money). Who will be paying the wages now?
Word is that he sold them to elonara. The club isn't losing money so the revenue will pay the running costs, don't you think we would have offloaded some of that eytie ****e back to their parent clubs we have on loan if we had to. The guy is a crook not an idiot. Jeez it's like trying to teach 60.
