3rd is not so bad.... we were 3rd seeds after all... you can try that line but we all know that city did the same last year.... its important for LFC to go deep in europa league to get as much ranking points as we can...

as of now we have 12.5 points this year for a total of 46.8 points.... tottenham have 83.8 this year....

we need to get our coefficient up to get a 2nd seed.... having a high seeding is the only way arsenal have got out of groups on past 5 years.

They've averaged 1.8 per game all season, so even by your own #graphs, they should attain 69 points.

They're currently on for 69 points. They have harder games coming so I think they will do even worse than 69 points.

But a while ago I predicted "less than 70 points" which now looks modest (i.e. I was proved right) but at the time that prediction was compared to matth in terms of delusion

Sure, I talked about tomorrows game being tough and in the next sentence talked about taking it more seriously when we reach the last 8. Any assumption that I thought that we were already in the last 16 is just that, an assumption. Sadly there is no chance Liverpool will get a 2nd seeding. Even winning the EL will only move the ranking up to the mid 20's and Uefa have changed the seedings for next year (CL champs and champs of top7/8 leagues will be top seeds) so pot2 will be even stronger.

It will pot3 at best and fingers crossed for a nice draw (and make sure to take advantage, if getting one)

 

I doubt we'd be as lucky with the draw as we were this year (I still can't believe how poor we were), that said IF we are in it, I'll have everything crossed for similar! (draw that is....the performances better be improved!!)
