Town is full of ****ing pot holes.. the worst one is the one on Park street just off Anlaby road, I hit the bastard everytime!! Just thought I would share my anger with you all
Did you know our government apparently spends more money fixing pot holes every year than the independent Scottish government expected to spend running the whole country for a year. Oh how I wish they'd voted yes.
Did you know that councils can't afford to fix the pot holes because they have to ring-fence monies to pay compensation claims from people who have hit (or who claim to have hit) said pot holes?
Can I ask, when are the roadworks going to be finished? As in, all of them, everywhere. There must come a point when they look at the roads and think "yup, they're all actually ok". It's taken the better part of 5 months to construct a road from near Swinemoor roundabout in Beverley to the Morrisons roundabout at the other end, it's vitrually a straight line, how the hell have they not finished it?! The Swinemoor roundabout itself is a total joke, it took ages to finish and now it's worse than ever, there's barely enough room to wait at the lights and lights themselves take about 10 minutes if you hit the roundabout after 8pm!
Is it the one on the right as you turn right onto Anlaby Road? The potholes on the road behind EYMS bus station are awful, if a copper was following me down there they'd think I was drunk, either that or warming m'tires up!
No its the one as your turn down Park street after the traffic lights... iv never seen where it is all hear is a massive thud and just think that ****ing pot hole again!
Bootherry Road just after Fiveways roundabout heading toward Hessle... it's quite simply like being in a bloody go-kart to avoid them!
