Bit concerned about Fernando Alonso. For those that don't know, he had a crash in testing for McLaren the other day and was airlifted to hospital, but is "absolutely fine, nothing to see here etc" according to McLaren (providing reassuring pictures of him smiling and waving). However, he's been kept in hospital for 3 days now, and reports from the circuit (and from Vettel who was following) were that he was going round a 150mph corner at around 90mph before oddly turning right (on a left hander) into the barrier. It sounds VERY much like there was some kind of medical incident that happened to him in the car whilst driving... I just hope it's not something that's going to stop him driving full stop, but one thing is for sure, we're not being told the whole truth here.
I don't believe that for a second. And it still doesn't explain why he's been in hospital for 3 days.
Certainly seems like he fainted or something similar in the car, concerning if true. In other news, anyone see Immigration Street last night?
Rather odd moment in the Ireland v UAE match. Ed Joyce missed a ball, the ball clipped his off stump, the bails were dislodged slightly and lit up. UAE, understandably, began to celebrate. But the bails landed back on the stumps! Not out.
and if they're not massive, then may they all be of a good quality...... quality is better than massive, darling.
