I have to say last nights win has calmed my fears a little in that it shows we have the ability. I suspect now that MK Dons and Swindon are starting to wobble a bit while Preston are finding a fine run of form. However our points lead will become even more important as the games left become fewer. The next hurdle will be who scores the goals (needed to win any game) once Smith leaves. It is clear to me that SC does not prefer JET (whom I suspect will be on his way in the summer) and this leaves Agard who is hardly prolific. Lets hope Wilbraham stays fit. But all in all I am a lot happier this morning. Well done SC

27 in 56 for Rotherham and 9 in 22 Bristol city? I'm wondering just what is your idea of 'prolific'?

Aside from us, I think the main challenge for the other top two spot will now come from PNE. They're on a good run and they don't concede many goals. The game at theirs may even decide who wins the league.

The injury to Dele Alli will undoubtedly affect MK Dons and I hope Swindle crash and burn anyway. Teams like Sheff Utd and Bradford are too far behind to trouble the top 2.

The way that our fixtures are allocated is also very odd. After Rochdale at home on Saturday we have three straight away games (Orient, Crawley and Yeovil) followed by three straight home games in Gillingham, Crewe and Barnsley. That takes us into April and by then there will only be 7 games left.........

I think you will find that Agard has played in 30 matches this year and has a similar scoring rate to JET although JET started in 6 less matches. Many of his goals however came at the beginning of the season and he is not an outstanding striker i.e. like some other clubs have. He is strictly League One standard. I never feel when he gets the ball that he is going to create anything special although he does work harder than JET. Come what may he is not a long term solution if we are to aspire to success in the promised land. Hope he proves me wrong

But hey if you have decided he's not the long term answer then we better get someone else in, trouble is who? perhaps you have some suggestions but Messi looked a bit busy last night so no point counting him in!

It's because we brought the Yeovile game forward so it sits in the two away games. Don't know why we brought it forward not pushed it back?
