    Good Morning Everyone,

Redders blamed last nights inept performance on tiredness!!

"It looked a jaded performance," Redfearn told the Leeds United official website . "We`ve had a fantastic run and I think sometimes you don`t perhaps realise how much this run has taken out of us.

"I don`t want to make excuses. We were second best tonight and Brighton were well worth the three points - they played really well. "It might have been a bit of tiredness. "We came in on the back of a run of games in a short period of time."

    Who did we miss more?

    Bellusci or Byram?

Cellino has announced he will not return to the club when his Football League ban ends in April. Instead, the Italian, who was disqualified in January from having anything to do with the running of the Championship outfit until April 10, will fight to clear his name as an independent citizen.

He has even sold a minority stake in the club via an open letter to Leeds fans on official website leedsunited.com on Tuesday evening.

It read: 'I have considered in the best interests of the club to postpone any release of my true thoughts and conclusion in relation to the 79 days disqualification verdict of the Football League and it was for not unsettling the harmony of the team in a period of key league tournament matches that I have measured to reveal my decision only today, because the qualification for the 2016 Championship is by now achieved.

'For the reason above said, at first I suggested that my intention was to resume in April the office of president of Leeds United Football Club after expiration of the disqualification term.

'I will not do so and I had actually decided not to do so in January already, soon after the confirmation by the Football League of its verdict.

'I wish to point out that I have immediately complied with all the requests of the Football League and, for such purposes, I instructed my consultants to arrange for all required actions in order to ensure my prompt exit from any management responsibility in the club

'After a due process, I have also sold - with a clear harm to my interests - a minority stake in the club, so that in no way I could be prevented from freely acting as an independent citizen and individual before any authority.

'My decision has developed because I have realised that about one year ago I had been admitted as president of the club when the latter was very close to insolvency.

'Only after my restructuring activities and the material funding by the new corporate member I found myself expelled from the club on the basis of interpretation and immediate application of an Italian measure that, although in Italy is ineffective and subject to reasonable cancellation, the Football League has elected to enforce under its own rules.

'Moreover, while I am already ousted, the Football League is now pursuing a new claim against me based on circumstances that do not belong to me and have already been clarified and heavily stigmatized by my lawyers.

'All of the above leads me to reconfirm the decision already reached in January so that I may be free of defending myself as any normal citizen, and I will not hesitate to do so before any authority because of my honesty, my commitment and due care to the club for which I have already invested one year of hard work.

'This is what I am called for also honouring a team that I have loved and for all the support and attachment I have received from fans, players, employees, contractors and professionals who have been close to me and I wish to thank once again.'

Chairman Andrew Umbers confirmed Cellino had sold the minority stake he personally held in the club and in Eleonora Sport Limited, the consortium which owns the club.

He told the club's official website: 'Massimo Cellino is taking this independent action so that Leeds United is seen to be fully compliant with the Football League rules and thus help the football club avoid any sanctions.

'The club are optimistic as to the outcome of the disciplinary panel hearing and of the rule K hearing.'

Redfearn blames tiredness yet continues to play his favourites without rotating the squad. Says everything about his qualities as head coach. As for Cellino, I would happy for him to sell and never come back. His and Salernos cheap signings will never allow us to progress. Ffs they sold our top goal scorers and replaced them with average crap.

    Morning Yorkie,

You've hit the nail on the head. He does not rotate at all...

Cellino, thats a more difficult one.

    Look at GFH, Bates, Ridsdale.

Would you prefer one of these back?

The Top 5 Stadiums In The Championship - Who's in?

Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Derby County, Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday all involved.

A constant argument between fans seems to be who has the best ground. Every side has an ace up its sleeve whether it’s a ‘traditional’ ground or a ground that has experienced ‘history’ and my favourite is ‘it’s better because it’s bigger’ I guess size DOES matter.

Here is my view on the best stadiums in the championship, having visited them all I will tell you my experiences of the grounds.

    In reverse order;

    Pride Park Stadium – Capacity: 33,597 – Opened: 1997.

The replacement for the iconic baseball ground was met with a lot of negativity and unfairly in my opinion. Whilst I agree nothing can replace the atmosphere and ‘feel’ of the baseball ground, as new stadiums go this is one of the best. The ground was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth the second and was planned to be one of the grounds used if England ever hosted the world cup, which is why the design allowed expansion. One of the most impressive things about the stadium is the acoustics in the ground, it means the noise can carry which makes for a good home and away atmosphere. The stadium has several monuments and old parts from the baseball ground. The most impressive monument is to Brian Clough and Peter Taylor both lifting the Division 1 title and with constant development around the stadium it will only get better in time. It has also hosted International games, including the England’s first team in a 4-0 win over Mexico in 2001 where Beckham and Sheringham both scored memorable free-kicks. Red Hot Chili Peppers picked the stadium as one of their venues for the Stadium Arcadium world tour.

    Hillsborough – Capacity 39,732 – Opened: 1899

Sheffield Wednesday’s home for over 100 years has seen a lot of history. It incredibly once housed 72,841 people to watch a FA Cup fifth round match between Wednesday and Manchester City. The ground is a fantastic venue to visit; although a fair bit out from the city centre. You do have a lot of different methods of transportation, once there you will see a huge daunting clearly historic stadium. Hillsborough has had very little work done to it since it was used as an official venue for the UEFA Euro 1996 finals tournament. It was also used in the 1966 World Cup finals as a venue where it was recognised as holy ground by West Germany after winning their first group match 5-0 against Switzerland and again playing Uruguay in the quarter finals where they won 4-0 at Hillsborough. Spain and Argentina also saw wins on Sheffield Wednesday’s home turf. The stadium has been haunted with the memory of the ‘Hillsborough disaster’ where 96 Liverpool fans tragically lost their lives and 766 were injured. This will also be embodied into the history of the stadium, and around the world the disaster is perhaps more famous than the stadium.

    The Amex – Capacity: 30,705 – Opened: 2011

The newest ground in the Championship has become fast known as one of the best stadiums around the country. I experienced the stadium for the first time this season and was took back by the size of their west stand, which is a 3 tiered stand that holds nearly 12,000 people on its own. The stadium has its own railway stop just outside the ground, which is easily accessed but parking at the stadium is quite expensive. The view and atmosphere for away fans is fantastic as is the food, seating arrangements and comfort. Brighton campaigned for years for a new stadium, and had to play over a decade at the Withdean Stadium which is an athletics ground holding a moderate 8,850. Brighton now get crowds of around 26,000 quite regularly and have clearly embraced their new home.

    The City Ground – Capacity: 30,602 – Opened: 1898

The home of Nottingham Forest since 1898 is in the nicest location out of all the stadiums perhaps in England. On the bank of the River Trent and a stone’s throw away from local rivals Notts County this is a good shout for one of the best grounds not only in the division but the country. The ground is one of the best for away supporters within walking distance of the city centre and with plenty to do. The ground is probably due some sort of redevelopment and has been allowed to sit with not much work done to it at all in the recent decades, however, the owners have vouched to change that and invest some money into development of the ground. There have been plans for a new 50,000 seater stadium for Nottingham Forest to move to in the not too distant future but I think without the desperate need for expansion then it would be a shame to leave such a stadium in the history books.

    Elland Road – Capacity: 39,460 – Opened: 1897

The oldest ground in the top 5 and it has seen quite a few big nights in its time. It has hosted England international fixtures and was also used in the Euro 96 finals tournament as an official venue. It has been home to Leeds United since 1919 having up to that pointed homed, now discontinued side Leeds City. The ground is currently in phase one of a five phase redevelopment plan put forward by former chairman Ken Bates, now under the ownership of GFH Capital this looks like it could be halted for the near future at least. Elland Road is perhaps one of the most multi-used stadiums in the country, having housed everything from U2 and Queen concerts to other sports and even films, either in its own right or a replacement for the old Wembley stadium. Elland road for an away supporter is fantastic, the ground is in a good location and the away fans are located in a good area of the ground where the view is fantastic apart from the odd bollard in the way of the view. The stadium is steeped in history, and has monuments to past greats around the ground which is a great to see a respect to tradition.

'After a due process, I have also sold - with a clear harm to my interests - a minority stake in the club, so that in no way I could be prevented from freely acting as an independent citizen and individual before any authority. - but who did he sell a minority stake to?? When was he talking to Bates?

Also, YEP reported last week that negotiations on a new contract for Cook were on hold until he knew what Cellino's future position was as owner. I took it to mean he wanted Cellino to stay but, of course, he could have meant the opposite.

Weird though, Bamba and Ngoyi in on loan and new contract for Wootton all in the last few weeks after he has decided he isn't coming back - things are rumbling in the background!

Ah the old tiredness comment, I fecking hate that bollocks. How does he expect the team to get anything out of the game when he plays no strikers (not until we're chasing the game)...Morison is not a striker IMO(he does put in a good shift) but it's goals we need.

Morning all <ok> and I Completely agree Shak.

Thought we may lose this one, the real test is if we now dust ourselves off and get back on a winning run or if we crumble. Both are a real possibility in my eyes

Although I'm a fan of sticking with a winning side, if Redfearn really felt the players were tired he should have rotated, especially the younger players. The bench did prove how unbalanced this squad is though: keeper, two defenders, no midfielders and four strikers! A couple of injuries and our midfield bench options consist of Thompson and Dawson. Not great.
Byram was a big loss; some natural wingers have to be our priority if we're sticking with 4-2-3-1.

    We missed Bellusci more imo.

Redders played Sloth out of position again according to the commentator, he's done that a few times after Sloth had a brilliant game. Why would you play a player who has brilliant games in his natural position out of position for the next game; I got my strong suspicions I tell you.

Redders doesn't want to make excuses, but still does any way.

"It looked a jaded performance," Redfearn told the Leeds United official website . "We`ve had a fantastic run and I think sometimes you don`t perhaps realise how much this run has taken out of us".

If you knew beforehand the run had taken a lot out of the players, which sounds like you did, why didn't you rotate the squad and change the formation slightly.

You knew Morison wasn't scoring too, but you kept picking him you donkey.

Redders, you're full of it, absolutely full of it. You can fool some of the fans some of the time, but you can't fool all of the fans all of the time.

Redders keeps talking about getting wingers in, but he won't play the ones we have like Monty, and Adryan can play as a wing attack too.

We have another BM, blames everyone and everything except himself, he lies like BM too.
