Like the starting 11. Ruddy, Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson, Redmond. Howson, Johnson, Dorrans, Hoolahan and Grabban.
And what formation do you suppose that is likely to be? 4-5-1 seems logical or do you suppose it's a 4-4-1-1?
Not getting carried away are we? Line-up is interesting as I thought Dorrans lacked match fitness and Wes would be a bit lightweight against Blackburn. This will be a big test tonight. As for line-up, it could be the 4-3-1-2 again
solid line up again and good mixx up keeping everyone including ourselves guessing. MM down the road must have his whiteboard and magnets out and thinking feck me!
Tettey and Hooper rested for Ippy? It's nice that we can plan like that and still have a very strong line up and bench.
Not sold on the starting eleven, reminds me of the Brentford lineup. I'm not sure there's enough bite in midfield. That said, our back 4 have looked better of late, so perhaps Neil feels they can cope with less protection.
Seems quite nicely balanced to me. Dorrans on the left and Redmond on the right gives us more natural width and Johnson and Howson can do that holding/supporting role very well together. I hope Wes can really get into this game. He's been solid but not spectacular the last few games. Not his usual tricky self. Though winning a penalty and an assist I guess has kept him his place.
Well done Thai, I was just going to post that for ex pats I'm going for a narrow 2-1 win for City, you ??
I think if Tetty received a yellow tonight it would rule him out at the weekend? So maybe that is the thinking behind dropping him
