According to Sky (I think it is) we have now turned down another bid from, presumably, Leicester of app. £4m and what's all this about turning down massive wages? no-one knows how much we have offered Maynard if we can afford £20k weekly for DJ what can we afford for Maynard? If he stays he stays, if he goes we get money to spend, it's a win win situation!

Banksy..QPR BUY success. Don't make me laugh. I have supported he R's sine 1974 and the only time we have had money to burn was when we sold Ferdinand to Newcastle, and then Ray Wilkins manages to purchase the only Aussie that can't settle in the UK!!

We have two nilionaires / millionaires in charge of the side, yet the first hing they do when we go up is to raise tickets prices. Eccles only spends on F1 and his daughters and Flav can't find his wallet....last seen hidden under his flab!!

personally, I would love to see Nicky Maynard play in blue and white hoops. The goal he scored at LR two seasons ago is one of the best I have ever seen I. If the chairman decide to spend £3 to £4 million I would that he can further his career in the premiersip, although the first season is always struggle. Cardiff used the loan system well, getting an Citeh to pay for the majority of Bellany's wages was a master stroke on the part, however you can question the "fairness" of the deal. Man City, like Chelsea will spend and spend until the owners get bored. You current chairman and your last one are both BC fans so you hae an advantage over the big spenders. Even Leicester and Norwich have spent more money than QPR.

Good luck for next season, always enjoyed my trips to Bristol

I hear we have offered Nicky Maynard the biggest contract in the clubs history, when you think about what we are paying David James, Nicky must be sitting on a gold mine. Its not as if he wont be allowed to move if he signs his new deal, it will just stop City getting bullied in to a decision.

I read the in the EP (granted not a reliable sourse) that the smart money will be on him resigning after the transfer window closes because he wont risk the idea that a Premiership team may come in late.

I honestly wont blame him if he moves to a QPR, Blackburn, Swansea, Wigan, or the like, if he goes to a side that just comes down he will still be in a better position in 12 months than he will if he hangs about here.

Won't blame him if he goes to a Prem club, but better sooner than later, we don't want to get to transfer deadline day and lose him with no time to get someone in.

If he went to a championship club I'd feel let down, considering his last injury was not a football related injury but self inflicted, he owes us another year or to at least get the best deal for the club.

    John Fallen,

Its quite obvious they're s**t scared of losing their prized asset. Come on Brizzle, get a grip your gonna lose him one way or the other. He'll either see his contract out or come to the mighty Leicester. Accept it

Another bid coming your way. This time 4.5M rising to 5M. You cant be so stupid as to reject that and see him walk for nothing next season. Before you say he wont go to a championship club Reading probaly said the same thing about Matt Mills. Whoever pays enough money you will sell.

Put yourself in Nicky Maynards shoes. Do you think we are now are more attractive opositions today compared to last week. You get 5M you can get 2 or 3 class players and have a real go as this bitterness from everyone needs to stop so we can have a geniune football debate

5M take it or leave what would you do

I'd snatch yer hand off <ok>

Edit - But I'd also want a sell on profit thingy in there aswell, we didn't have one for Andy Cole and then he went to Man Utd for about 7m I think?
