He hasn't lost the ability, it's just a case of getting him to use that ability.

I've always said that on his day, there really aren't many better strikers than Adebayor, the problem is Adebayor only chooses to have "his day" about 5 times a season unless he's playing for a contract. In his one season under Harry, he was absolutely superb, he got something like 18 goals and 13 assists. If anyone is to get the best out of him again, it probably will be Harry... Again.

Looks like he'd prefer to stay picking up splinters at Spurs than play football. The Clubs agreed a loan deal but he didn't want it. Oh well.

I see you've released Ekotto. Good riddance

In some ways I'm glad we didn't let him go as it didn't seem as though we had a replacement lined up and I'd much rather have people to choose from should we need them rather than being left in a pickle.

As for Benny, huge shame how the past couple of years have gone, he's been the best LB we had in the Premier League era and so seeing things go sour was unfortunate. He'd still be first choice in my opinion if it wasn't for the falling out with AVB and the quenelle stuff - although I do believe him when saying he supported the quenelle as a gesture of anti-establishment NOT for anti-Semitism.

Chris Ramsey's been made caretaker manager of QPR for the rest of the season, apparently.
Good luck to him. Did a good job as our youth coach, though reports on his time with the first team were rather mixed.
Hope he keeps them up. <ok>

I am surprised at this news. His behaviour in the past week has been out of character, because at Spurs, he wouldn't say boo to a goose, yet in the last few days, he has been making loud noises in the media about how much he wants the job.

Whatever, good luck to the guy, he certainly did a lot of good work with our younger players and he is thoroughly likeable man.

Best of luck to him, the man has a conveyor belt of qualifications in the game, if he can transition his success with youth into the first team then he could well be a very good manager in the making.

Steffen Freund won Euro '96 and used to play for us, Tony Jiminez won three Spain caps in the late 90s, and Ugo Ehiogu is the centre back we should've signed to replace Judas.

There's also Academy coach Bradley Allen, who used to play for QPR and Charlton, does the occasional bit of commentary on the radio and for Sky, and is the younger brother of former Spurs striker Clive.

Kieran McKenna was once a promising midfielder for us but his playing career was cut short before it technically begun due to severe knee injuries, so he took his coaching badges and is now manager/ coach of the Under 18s.

Then there's a certain Ledley King whom I understand does a bit of work with our Under 18s too, was a decent CB in his day, apparently.

Sandro is on the verge of full fitness, having been out for months with an injury.
He made his return in an U21 victory and completed most of the game... before being dismissed for violent conduct. <doh>

Didn't look that bad a challenge. No idea why he went all Matic.

This season has shown why sandro was sold...decent money for a player who has horrible injury problems.
I like sandro and really feel for him...injuries have screwed up the last 2 or 3 yrs of his career

I guess it must be frustrating to be out injured for that amount of time, only to have someone slide in recklessly in an u21 game :p

Really is a shame about Sandro. A fully fit, injury-free Sandro would be one of the top 5 DM's on the planet.

£6m is looking like great business for us now.

Its not the first time Levy has pulled Tony's pants down and it won't be the last.

The brittle Beast's first game back will be against the Arsenal Wednesday night. Presuming he don't get injured, will he last 15 minutes before he's sent off?

(PS Hard luck today lads <ok>)

At the time I felt it was Levy who had his pants pulled down but Sandro just cannot seem to rid himself of these constant injuries, a terrible shame as he truly is a fantastic player when he's 100%.

I don't think Levy wears pants for this exact reason
