Shouldn't you be helping your mummy make some Fairy Cakes for your party HIAG ?

  2. Is that really the only level of debate that you are prepared to enter into?

You've got to admit, it's a bit pathetic on your part.

So you're now saying that the 'kernel' of this argument may be that power is shifting further towards Arsenal and the gap is widening away from Spurs ?

Completely against the premise of your OP, but I'm used to you trying to back track <ok>

Also the other power shift, could be one that's moving from N17 to Merseyside.

  6. PESKIE, why do you persist in trying to make an argument over something that has already been covered? Only foolish people do that!

I have already said, in numerous posts, that I haven't made my mind up one way or the other, and that I am merely the conduit for debate.

If you want to make the case that any power-shift is further towards Arsenal, that is your prerogative, but I would hope that you could do it in such a way that does not continually resort to poor wum-attempts.

It hasn't been covered, your OP was written straight after the NLD and talks about how Spurs dominated Arsenal, it then posits the question of a power shift. You're fooling nobody, you certainly weren't suggesting anything other than a power shift toward Spurs and now you're desperately trying to back track <ok>

  8. I was suggesting nothing, PESKIE.

And, of course, my thread was created immediately in the wake of our humbling you, because it might be considered by some (not me, necessarily) as good evidence that there has been a shift in power in North London, however slight, at this moment in time. The best evidence that any of us can obtain is comparable evidence.

Who exactly then on this thread considers that there has been a shift in power towards Spurs ? Because I haven't seen anybody else other than you even mentioning it.

    You're fooling nobody HIAG

What actually happened is that you spunked your pants after the NLD and wrote a power shift thread. When a week later the Spuds were below Arsenal again and now that they languish in 7th, you're desperately trying to back track.

    <ok>

  11. That's hardly my fault, PESKIE, is it? Do you blame the drain-pipe if it doesn't rain? Of course you don't! Because you know the drain-pipe is there to act as the proper conduit for the water when it does rain.

  12. I can assure you, PESKIE, that I have never spunked in my pants. I may have let go a little bit of piss once in a while (but that was only because I was laughing quite a lot), but I general have really good control over when fluids are ejected from my body.

Difference is that the drain pipe is there specifically because of the rain, on this thread however there is no rain, just a drain pipe making itself look a bit lonely and sad.

Your own bodily fluids are your business, but metaphorically speaking this thread is one big case of premature ejaculation. <ok>

Oh, here's a pic of our "lucky" penalty. Apart from the fact that Song has his hand across Kane's chest, trying to grab his shirt, and he's standing on his left foot, it was never a penalty!.....the shove in the back, you can't see from this angle.

I reckon you might have the wrong thread there NSIS.

This thread is for discussing how close to Arsenal Spurs still aren't.

<laugh> There's literally nobody talking about a power shift to Spurs other than HIAG who is desperately now trying to back track and sit on the fence.

This thread is like one of those situations where the 'big man' tries to start a fight thinking his mates will back him up, only to turn around and realise that he's own his own, about to face a pummelling.

They all seem to be pretty much the same, and have one common thread - HIAG winding Gooners up, and them ranging from antagonised to hilariously apoplectic. In which case, I didn't think it really mattered....

The only ones winding themselves up on this thread are HIAG with his squirming and back tracking and you and SD waving your pom poms for him from the sidelines <laugh>
