not true my friend; . The original American company of F W Woolworth sold off its stores to different buyers in other countries. So now, since they all have different owners, Woolworths in one country has no connection to Woolworths in another country apart from the name.
That may all be true... However I myself ventured into a nice big red Woolworths Store in Dubai a couple of months ago?! There ARE Woolworths Stores... divvent know or care who owns them... They ARE there marra !!
yes i dont doubt this but its name only ,if you are intrested ...search w.f woolworth..the history is interesting to say the least with lots of other named brands which they owned ,get ultimate in the window anyway ..lol. What a strange thread It starts of about a game of football, then has a dispute on woolworths (everyone used to nick their pick/n/mix) and someone telling a mod to get ****ed. It's better than a soap opera at times.
