Going on Trophies won, European Competitions, League Positions etc There is no doubt that Norwich have enjoyed more success over the past 5 years.
and as I have said Dave, many times, myself and many other Ipswich fans don't think like that. We were both founder members of the Premier League in 1992 and we both got relegated in 1995. Under Burley we were light years ahead of you in league positions. 1990 - Norwich 10th in Division 1 Ipswich in Divsion 2 1991 - Norwich 15th in Division 1 Ipswich in Division 2 1992 - Norwich 18th in Division 1 (plus FA Cup Semi-Finalists) Ipswich promoted, at last 1993 - Norwich 3rd in PL Ipswich 16th in PL 1994 - Norwich 12th in PL (plus memorable UEFA Cup run, beating Bayern and undeseverly bowing out to Inter Milan over 2 legs) Ipswich 19th in PL (staying up by a gnat's foreskin) 1995 - Both relegated, Norwich 43 points / Ipswich 27 points. 1996 - 1999 - Both in FL Championship. Admittedly you finished above us each year in the same league, but failed to get promotion. Not sure this makes up for the previous 6 years!!
