There's also a huge lack in confidence too. We smashed that out of them at Old Trafford in August because they built up a hell of a lot of huge wins and momentum before coming to a shuddering halt.
My broadband works fine, thanks. I see the broader picture which really confounds those who wear blinkers. Oh,and just for the record,I will continue to air MY opinions even if they are not shared by anyone else, and if that's a continued problem for you,and several others, well, that's what it is - YOUR PROBLEM.
"not like previous managers who were stuck with plan A and nothing else". Presumably you are referring to those previous managers who took the teams they managed to various promotions, won a major Cup,took the team on European journey, etc. All without a plan B. Those previous managers, yeh? Unlike the incumbent who has achieved absolutely "nothing".
Sorry Valley, you say we took the game to them second half? So explain to me why we only managed to get 1 shot on target, and that was a speculative shot from distance. That to me was not a deserved win, a draw would have been fair. We defended well but our offence was ****, we got out of jail with a cracking goal. If the roles are reversed we would say we didn't deserve to lose, yet we claim we deserve to win when the luck roles our direction. Some go on about us not deserving to lose against Southampton in the reverse fixture, yet we were down to 10 men for a majority of the game and Southampton had multiple shots on target. As for United we definitely deserved that win. United were poor, but we were pretty damn good both defensively and offensively.
So,presumably you agree with him when he stated that Utd. were the better team on Saturday, had more scoring opportunities,"one every two minutes",and that they "should have had at least one penalty"? Be careful with your answer now,as I'll be watching.
[QUOTE="swanselona, "If the roles are reversed we would say we didn't deserve to lose, yet we claim we deserve to win when the luck roles our direction" Spot on swans. They only see what they want to see,and tailor their posts accordingly. Difficult to take such opinions seriously and I, for one, don't. The sad thing is that those who don't follow the party line are denigrated for not doing so.
"Take LVG". No thanks,YOU "take" him. You and LVG have a great deal in common,in as much as reality passes you by.
Just for the record libertarian no one has ever told or requested you stop airing your opinions, or told or requested you stop posting your sniping comments; which in truth libertarian, constitutes the majority of your contributions, even you have to agree with that fact. So, now I've explained this to you libertarian, I'm sure you'll agree there's no need, again, for your standard and feeble 'victims defence'. No one is trying to stop you stating your opinions, they are well known, if not respected, in return you have to appreciate that others will disagree and they will want to air their opinions too. This process appears to upset your sensitive nature. Love sniping but you hate it when others fire back, that's a trait of weakness libertarian, but that is YOUR PROBLEM. You're not denigrating the opinions of others are you wibble? not you? surely not?
Agreed with you up that last sentence - United were so arrogant they thought they only had to turn up to get 3 points. Their pride shattered they, including the players, are scuttling around making lame mumblings about being unlucky. Delusional is the word.
You are such a hypocrite, always complaining that I don't see things in the same light as you. Well, that's how the cookie crumbles. If you don't like my posts, the intelligent way to deal with that would be to ignore them. But I can see your problem there.
Well, without our 'incumbent' we wouldn't be in the PL in the first place Your attempted arrogant put downs know no bounds do they? I bet it killed you to see the result v Utd Saturday
When its 0-0 it only takes one shot on target to win the match. I could see as the second half went on that we'd taken control of the game and thst we could have won it. Hell even some of the Saints fans said we deserved the three points.
Jesus bob as per usual Gomis was so slow in getting out of the way the ball hit him on the back of the head. In all honesty I thought it was an excellent performance all round, defensively we looked well organised and for all Man Utd pressure they had very little in chances. I still believe our only weak link is up front, I thought Gomis was terrible apart from the early header and his clearances from corners. His first touch is appalling and he is poor at holding the ball up for a big guy and gets dispossessed far to easily. He doesn't look like scoring, He runs around outside the box chasing shadows and doesn't actually do much. I Just feel we need a replacement or try someone else. I don't want to detract from the performance and the change in formation which seemed to work but did leave us a little exposed out wide. We also started to look a little tired towards the end (understandably). I did notice we reverted to 2 wide players when Monty came on and that did help with both Valencia and Young on the pitch. Gm seems to have done his homework here and well done to him, unlike the Saints game where we got lucky, this time his tactics were spot on and worked. Lets not waste this performance with a poor one against Burnley. That is where Gm will earn his money getting the players up for the smaller games, its easy to get them going for the UTD's of the world.
Well,at least I'm not making things up to suit my point of view. That's your forte. I was,in fact, being very considerate to him. I merely react to the negativity, abuse, insults, lack of tolerance, etc.,shown towards me,and my opinions. I make no apology for doing that and will continue so to do.
The "incumbent" provided 18 points against his predecessor's 24. Your point is? You are very consistent Valley. You continue to post words in my direction that have no foundation in reality. Is that what you were taught in teacher training? To tell untruths, and make things up to suit whatever opinion you have on any particular day? I'm beginning to get really pissed off with YOUR repeated arrogance, and would suggest that you give my posts a wide berth, since you find the content so unpalatable.
