Sandy it looks like another of your "ironic' posts is going to come back to haunt you regards your Owner IQ134 gooner4ever
i dont understand why the media hasn't laid into LVG who seems to think hoof-ball is an answer. i used to dislike SAF but i did admire the way United played - full of tempo and fast all out attack. under LVG it is no tempo and slow paced counter attack, and hoof-ball to for last 20 minutes
Still in our hands right now. A big two months coming up for us but everyone is dropping points from top to bottom. Assuming liverpool and spurs progress in europe we play both after a european game. Based on both today, they are likely to be poor which gives us a chance. Whether we are capable of taking it or not remains to be seen. Our record so far against our rivals is pretty good. We have beaten Liverpool and Everton while drawing with Spurs and Chelsea. Only City beat us so far. A similar return would be welcome. I wouldn't say we have any piss easy games coming up either. There's none left in the league anymore.
175 million spent, and no Europe to distract him. Yet he's barely doing better than Moyes. I think his track record has bought him some more time with everyone than Moyes got, but once the top 4 starts moving out of our reach, which it will do in the next month the pressure will ramp up on him. I'm actually fairly convinced that we won't get top 4 with him in charge, as like you say the only tactic he ever has any success with is long balls to Fellaini
In all honesty I don't see how he'll turn it around from here. Has to win the FA Cup now and build on that because it's not happening in the league now. Liverpool have too much momentum and comfortably the best run-in of the challengers.
It's going to take a monumental effort to get 4th (at the moment 3rd looks out of the question). You will need maximum points from Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa, WBA and Hull. Any slip ups in those and it's mission impossible as you'll definitely drop points against Liverpool, City or Chelsea if not all three.
Hes been slaughtered all season. I think he seriously underestimated the Premier League. If he knew what he does now I think he would have signed physically stronger players rather than the flair players he did. They werent bad signings but non are leaders. I wish we played poorly yesterday. We would probably have got something as weve done more often than not this season. We were pretty good in the second and upped the tempo quite a bit compared to recent weeks. It was possible another leicester moment. Play well but the weakness at the back cost us. If we are back to turgid ****e and points then so be it.
Reckon we will nick a point against Liverpool. Little worried that of City of this weekend turn up then we could be in trouble. Chelsea will probably win. It tends to happen at the bridge. We could easily be 5 ahead of Liverpool again come next weekend too. Its a crazy league this season. One minute all is lost and the next its great again.
At least he has started Herrera in midfield before resorting to Louis Long Ball. How is Di Maria doing in the Mata role?
Wouldn't say Pool have the easiest run in, in their next 5 games they have to play Arsenal, United, City, and Swansea away as well, not easy games. And then after that in the last month of games, they play Chelski and Stoke away, though seeing as it would be Stokes last game of the season, and they ain't got **** to play for, won't be the typical tough game. What an irony though if Liverpool beat Chelsea and end Chelsea's title hopes near the end of the season, just as Chelsea did to Liverpool last year. But anyways, not easy games for Liverpool, also West Brom away is always tricky.
Imo there are no easy games anymore in the PL which makes it hard to predict the outcome of any game and where teams will end up this season. all we can hope for is a good run and to go unbeaten till end of season and see where we end up. Hopefully that's 3rd, retain FA Cup, and semi finalists of CL - all possible and would be improvement on last season and with another couple of world class signings to strength the squad will give base for proper title challenge
Tbh it could be any where from 3rd to 7th. Same applies to a few sides too. Reckon 7-3 will be sperated by about 3 points.
It's tight and I think they'll be little to separate 4th-7th. But HIAG has nailed his colours to the mast and predicted that Arsenal will finish 7th, so I'm going to see if that comes back to haunt him
Based on past records Arsenal has a better chance of finishing in the top four than , Man Utd, Southampton Spurs or Liverpool. However, there is always the first time for anything.
That feat was 2 and a half managers ago, the current utd manager hasn't even got a record of 1 top 4 finish in the prem. #historyunited
