As I say, I'm still not sure if there has been a power-shift - and we may not find out for a couple more seasons yet, as these things take their time to show - but the debate is one that all fans, across so many divides, have been demanding for years. I am merely the conduit for public demand.

The fact you're not sure, and think it's even a possibility, is enough proof that you're utterly deluded, because it's not even a debating-talking point to discuss whether a power shift is even happening.

You clearly don't understand what a power shift is, or you do, but you're playing stupid because you're so desperate to say your team is better than Arsenal. So let me make it clear as to what a power shift would entail or look like:

-Spurs CONSISTENTLY ending up above Arsenal, like Arsenal have done over Spurs, I've lost count because it's been so many, one season ending above us doesn't count as a power shift

-Consistently winning major trophies, and challenging for major trophies, i.e. the league, fa cup, and champions league, sorry spuds, your micky mouse cup may be a trophy, but comes nowhere near the other major honours just mentioned.

And then we have many other things, like revenue-income, stadium, fan base, all of which Spurs don't match Arsenal, we're richer than you, have a better stadium than you (which you ****ers are trying to copy-cat now), and we have more fans than you, and are recognised much more around the world than you are.

So hopefully you now understand what a power shift actually is you babbling baboon. Now go get your shine box.

Possibly, but any shift has to start somewhere, and what we are debating, here, is whether or not there has been a shift.

If you think hard enough about it, you might just about be able to grasp the concept, especially if you think in words of one syllable.

Our history is littered with trophies. So, I think we have this one covered.

Our new stadium project is well under way, now, so we'll have that one covered soon enough. Everything else you mention will follow, in due course.


As I say, I cannot say for sure whether or not there has been a power-shift. I think it's a moot point, open to interpretation, either way.

But the important thing is that we debate the matter in a clinical and wum-free manner, which is what everyone appears to be doing.

 

When all is said and done, we are still only a win away from 4th.

We'd be equal 3rd with United (the places don't actually crystalize until the end of the season).

But, yes, I take your point, IQ4 - we're a win away from being equal 4th, with another win to be outright 4th.

Hardly "owned," PESKIE (at least, not in the sense that I always "own" you). IQ4 pointed out something that required clarification and I clarified. That is what this site is all about - good honest debate.

It's just a shame that you have to come along on the wum, PESKIE. IQ4 and me don't need that.

 

HIAG wants to try and sit on the fence with this ridiculous North London Power shift rubbish, so as to try and avoid further humiliation, when it doesn't materialise. But he has already stated that Spurs will finish above Arsenal this season, so he's laid his cards out on the table. Regardless, he humiliates himself daily on this forum so it's a bit of a lost cause anyway.

 

Well you had to have it clarified for yourself because you went down that classic spud route of claiming 'joint' places, whilst ignoring the rules of the football, namely goal difference.

But anyway, I've told you before HIAG, the only thing you 'own' is an unrivalled ability to make a complete bellend out of yourself.
