its not 21 our of 30 though.. Is this some ratio or what?

its 32 out of 45 minimum isn't it. 15 games to go and we need 32 points = 10 wins and 2 draws in 15 with only 3 loses... thats with respect to lfc optimism a huge ask still... our record last year was draw, win 11, lose, draw, win = 12-2-1 = 38 points

what this requirement is in reality is to repeat last years form, and perhaps just lose two more games (say we lose to city and arsenal just for example.)

Now last year our run came form both suarez AND sturrdige being fit and sterling playing behind them. When sturrdige was out wirh respect to suarez we still we not all that.

Now that sturridge is back fit and a new system is in play that gets a lot from coutinho and from sterling... but also our our wing backs.... can we do this kind of run............ only time will tell.

IMO what LFC NEED is rodgers to ignore johnson barring injury to can (never play him wing back for sure) and to ignore the calls for gerrard to play unless it is in a direct swap for lucas in games at anfield

LFc need the best front 3 playing from here on in.... in the league... and for the best to be got out of the midfield too....

It`s not some kind of ratio, it`s the last 10 games compared to the next 10 (30 points) <ok>

BTW our post-crisis form prediction currently puts us on 66 points, the 61 points includes the crisis

block update. block 6 sees 10/12 points, by far our best haul of the season. it sees 4 clean sheets as well

    block 7

    Tottenham Hotspur
    Southampton
    Manchester City
    Burnley

3 homes gams is all there is to be said.... i'd take 7/12 if offered right now. get 8 and its really good. i think tottenham are in great form but at anfield we have a chance. southampton are hard to say.... city should whack us but are not quite right and burnley are burnley.

  10. We need to win the first two really and then I'd be expecting a win against Burnley too. Nine points (not the usual eleven ;)) from this block.

    great win here.

3 points from first game in block... one loss in 10 now.. and that is 10 games ago. (league only)

won 4 of last 5 and are top of form table. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html

ntoe that at home we have won 3 and drawn 3 in last 6 so we should/ could be even better.

have a look though, southampton, spurs and arsenal are right behind us so for 4th we've only hauled back 2 points on them....

Southampton are 2nd in form now, but because we beat Spurs who used to be there

It's a season of keeping pace and winning the sixpointers

  14. Think I've said something about the need to beat our rivals recently <whistle>

    very good point.

We beat westham and its now put them out of it. We've seen arsenal beaten by spurs then spurs lose to us. THe game v southampton is prob more than a six pointer to us. It will prob decide if they finish above or below them.

the other really huge on is utd at anfield. IF we lose that we will finish below them.

    Southampton A
    Manchester City H
    Burnley H
    Swansea City A
    Manchester United H
    Arsenal A

    Newcastle United H
    Hull City A
    West Bromwich Albion A
    Queens Park Rangers H
    Chelsea A
    Crystal Palace H
    Stoke City A

  19. Great result today and it puts us right back in the mix. However, I have a concern still; we've been in title challenging form over the last sixteen or seventeen games yet were still outside (just) the top four. Obviously, it will be very difficult for us to maintain that form for the duration of what remains too.

9/9 in this block with one big un to come

    That's far more than expected

    45 now so 65 = 20 points in 12 games or 6 wins 2 draws
