Agreed they are gone. Personally think 3 wins and a draw will be sufficient to keep us up. If we can't do at least that then we don't deserve EPL football.
Wins will be Hull away, Newcastle, Villa, Palace & Leicester at home .... we'll draw at Man Utd & Everton.
Just like last year then .......... when many people said it was impossible Turning defeats into wins is radical, draws into wins is much more likely especially after signing a top striker. Our run in, this time, looks easier than last season as well. Every reason to be optimistic if you're that way inclined ....... impossible if you're not.
Its far from impossible given the fixtures, compared to last season anyway. They problem is you can't keep performing these miracles, you'll get caught out sooner or later.
We're 4 points off danger with only other PL teams to play ...... Leicester, Palace, Villa, Newcastle at home etc. Staying up would be dull & predictable, hardly a 'miracle' is it?
Carry on at the rate we're are and we'll end up on about 36 points. Regardless of going on a miraculous runs, we need to pick up on our points return from games.
1 point from qpr and wba at home says it all. Bloody typical. Our team is poor and where it is in the league on merit. I would happily take the end of the season now and move on. Will we be signing great players in the summer? I guess not. Will we be playing similar stuff next season? More than likely. We have gone from "yo yo club" to "perennial strugglers". Can we move up to "solid premier league outfit" remain as we are or drop back to yo yo.
Agreed but it only needs a fractional increase ........ not really a miracle. We've had our most influential player imo, Cattermole out of the team. We lost both full backs and now have them all back. Poyet screwed up against Hull & QPR but he's smart enough to learn ........ I'm not worried.
So have Leicester!! These are two bad sides! If it's a draw then that's not a bad result for us. Everton will be 3 points ahead of us, still close enough! Lukaku truly looks godawful! Another sitter missed!
If we only drew at home to Leicester some people would be suicidal ....... this just shows how close things are.
