By the way, it's just started chucking it down in the Mendip Hills so should be with you guys in time for kick off.
I think Nigel has always felt close to us, but he is more free to express it as Nicola has gone and he is out of work (so cannot offend the team he works for).
Right...WHU are 2-0 up against Spurs. This is the weekend to win....everyone down on your knees and pray towards Mecca, Rome, Jerusalem and any other site where an immortal being can influence the result.
Feel sorry for WHU tho, I dont think Spuds deserved anything. Enough about the teams outside the top 4 We will be 3rd on merit.
Feeling really nervous about tonight... I will not be able to watch the game tonight as I have a flight to catch, in some ways I feel relieved that I cannot see it. Am dreading turning on the mobile when I land... I know a draw would not be bad but I also think we need to start winning home games such as this; not many home games left and we have Chelsea and Man City away to come. I do hope Liverpool play 3-4-3, as I think it allows our wide attacking midfielders to get down the wings and create all sorts of problems for them at the back. Fingers, toes and all other anatomy parts crossed for tonight...I think I need to lie down in a darkened room for a while.. (gulp!). COYR - prove my nerves are found-less and let me castigate myself afterwards for my stupidity!!!
I hate that moment you go on line and find out the result. I know it is stupid, but it is as if it never happened if you don't know about it. It is why I often turn off the tv. Ridiculous as logic says it has happened and there is nothing you can do about it. Who says football has anything to do with logic?
Interview on SKY with JWP at a community event. A youngster asked him if would consider leaving Saints to go to Barcelona. James replied no, though Barcelona were a good side He later added that he had not considered leaving Saints in the summer because it was a great club to be at and they all believed that a CL spot was possible.
JWP is intelligent enough to give the appropriate answer even when a surprise dynamite one comes along.
