Having recently moved and having the freedom to blast out the tunes without upsetting anyone I've been playing quite a lot of music recently, my last 10 are close to my favourite 10 as I'm basically revisiting music. Of course there are plenty more which I haven't got round to playing or played before these.

    What are yours?

    Mine:
Kevin Ayers - Joy of a Toy
Shamen - In Gorbachev We Trust
Flux of Pink Indians - Strive to Survive
    Cramps - Off the Bone
    Cardiacs - The Seaside
Iggy Pop - Lust For Life
Culture Shock - Onwards & Upwards
Big Black - Songs About ****ing
    Ozric Tentacles - Tantric Obstacles
Band of Holy Joy - Manic, Magic, Majestic

Tip: You can get a list from Windows Media Player by going to Library/Songs, add the column "Date Last Played" and sort by that. You can see the albums you've played as you scroll down the list.

Wonder what's on that. Love them when they were Tyrannosaurus Rex, just set myself up at work to listen to stuff (bought headphones and copied my music to a portable drive), so far played:
    The Clash - The Clash
Fields of the Nephilim - Burning the Fields
Fields of the Nephilim - Dawnrazor
Subhumans - From the Cradle to the Grave
T Rex - Ride a White Swan (which is a compilation LP me ma had which I made as a playlist and all the tracks are from the Tyrannosaurus Rex era)

Jim McCulloch of the Soup Dragons is my mate's neighbour, we are trying to get a jam or three arranged for a bit of fun with the potential for some local Gigs.

    What happened to Sean Dickson?

They were great to start with when they did Buzzcocks style pop punk, but lost their way with the dance/baggy stuff, even though it was a lot more commercially successful.

I'd be lying if I said I had any idea, I never really followed the Soup Dragons and I probably not known him from Adam unless my mate told me. My mate (who's a drummer) and me play in a band of our own, mostly Classic Rock covers and we practice at our guitarist's house in Glasgow, it's a bit of a trek home on a thursday night so we are looking to get another band with different style of music closer to home, we only live about 8 miles apart and Jim lives near him, he's spoken to him about it but it looks as if we'll have to hire the local scout hall just to get a Jam going. I'll let you know if it works out, and i'll ask him about Sean <laugh>
