We're at home to the Mackems on 3rd March (Tuesday). There's clearly a lot of dissatisfaction with Gus Poyet. Although the Poll doesn't show it, the posts do. http://www.not606.com/threads/where-do-we-stand-on-poyet.292468/
Some people were saying "get rid of Steve Bruce" but three matches later that's disappeared. It's a tight bottom 8 of the league: In a couple of games we can be mid-table or bottom three.
We're away at Stoke this next Saturday; they're away at Old Trafford. Results of those two games could have a huge bearing on both teams' morale for the match between us.
Yes but you have to make allowances for the fickle and faint-hearted ones. All clubs have them and for all we know they may be very old ladies who have accidentally fastened their corsets too tight.
Pete Saxton is right. Some muppets had turned on Bruce after the Newcastle match. You're forgetting our mini revival started away at Man City, a match nobody connected with City thought we'd do anything in other than turn up & lose. Funny things can happen in football- and United are no way as as good as Man City.
I didn't contradict Peter. I merely said "Results of those two games could have a huge bearing on both teams' morale for the match between us."
With N'Doye we have a real chance of getting goals. He seems to have the maturity and confidence needed. This allows Jelavic to concentrate on his own game and not be a one man forward line. Brady and Elmo can supply the crosses. Our main problem is creating chances through the middle. Also our set pieces are very poor.
