I enjoyed Ronald's shot across past and present players bows: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31570966 Apologies if already posted.
When we played Liverpool up there we rattled their cage a bit before going down. If we have progressed as far as the majority think we have, we need to more than rattle their cage this time! As for the returning players.......I think the majority of us have got over the shock of losing our favourite players. Should they have gone, should we still be distressed? That debate will go on and on and will be eventually forgotten if not forgiven. Fact is they are Liverpool players now, we as a team need to concentrate and beat the ass off them. Southampton is who I support, while I have my favourite players, it is "The Saints" who I support, not individuals.
Only slightly nervous at the moment...by k.o. I will be chewing the carpet. I will never make it through the whole match....the tv will go off if 1) it is still 0-0 at half time, 2) Liverpool go 1-0 up or 3) we go 1-0 up. Basically I cannot watch a match anymore....hard to believe I held a season ticket for so long. It is as tense fighting at the top as it is fighting relegation in the past (just not so understandable).
Not upset anymore as smugness is a powerful analgesic Even if Lallana plays his socks off, I don't think anyone wants him back now. Imagine how we'd feel if he was strutting his stuff and we were in the bottom 4-5 of league. I think people just enjoy a game more if there is spice to it.
New poster here. Can't wait for this one. Brenda's youtube sensations do not worry me but the refs who fall over themselves to award countless scouse penalties do !
I know it has meaning on the game whatsoever, but, on fifa 15, played arsenal directly before the game, and won 2-0 with mane and tadic scoring. Played swansea at home and lost 1-0. Played west ham at home and drew 0-0. Played liverpool a few days ago. Won 1-0. Long. 85th minute. If it happens, you can thank me later.
Mm I played my son twice yesterday with him as Saints. He's better than me. Game 1: 1-1 Game 2: I won 3-1... Oops
