Would you take 5th place now?

Wise man? Sounds more like a wiseguy to me!

 

I'm just not a gambler and not a boom or bust kind of girl. Someone said to me once...you will never get rich working for someone else and not taking risks...I'm now sitting in my home and enjoying life, whilst he is bankrupt and facing work till he dies. An extreme case I know, but I cannot risk being okay for a mere chance of being rich. I'm having a wobble and went for 5th because any lower would be unimaginable after this season.

 

If (please don't) we finished 6th, I'd still be proud and happy of a great season.

 

I'd be proud of Saints and hopeful for the future if we finished 6th and would have taken 6th at the start of the season, but would be disappointed now. Don't want all those pundits coming out and saying, 'I told you so.'

 

And seeing as we have been in the top 5 since September and in that time we have only been out of the top 4 for 2 weeks, 6th place would be a disappointment. I can't believe I just wrote that. I, as a Saints fan would be disappointed with finishing 6th in the Premier League!

 

But the "told you so" was about us being in a relegation fight. They told us nowt.

 

We can still finish 4th. Liverpool and Spurs have too many games and Man U are crap. We may not finish above Arsenal but with our run in we have every cahnce of finishing above Man U.
