Apologies Polly, that's Staropramen for you! I actually didn't read that post, for some reason my phone jumped straight to another of his posts, so I assumed that was what was being reference. My phone really hates this site, I'm eager to know why. I stand by my point though, goal aside I didn't think he was very useful today.
Please refer me to where I said N'doye is ****e, as Polly has imagined. Because that's a very different thing to saying he was ****e, which is what I actually said.
You don't think a striker, who scored the goal that won the game today was very useful? What the **** do you expect from him? Bring you a pint at half time and sing you a song?
I did say 'goal aside'. How many times did he force Green into a save? Once? He showed a few neat touches but his contribution before the goal wasn't massive. He scored, most importantly, but it doesn't detract from the fact that he wasn't nearly as impressive as he was on his debut. Brady did knob all as well, he assited N'Doye's goal, but for 88 minutes he did nothing, I don't think he took Philips on once.
Not sure what people were/are expecting but if he scores a goal every home game (especially a decisive one), he can be as … as he wants.
Mmmm Polly was right wasn't she old fruit You most certainly did say N Doye was ****e today Next comment please
the supply to the strikers was good when it was 11 v 11 but from the sending off we were struggling to supply n'doye & jela.....we looked alot better when aluko ramirez & hernandez came on as it freed up our strikers to go on and score, the quality of the cross from brady was great too but we need more of them crosses from him and elmo
Context pal. Had he not scored the goal, how would you have rated his performance? Memorable? A real handful for Green to deal with?
n'doye was good today, put himself about. wasn't as good on the ball but I think QPR when defensive after the sending off, so made it hard for our strikers.
He's payed to score goals I thought the full team where very average but you've got to give credit to QPR We seem to get more points when we play poorly so I ll settle for a point next week
I fail to agree, the supply from our wingers was awful all day until brady's brilliant cross plus meyler had a stinker too! I do normally like Brady & Elmo but they had a bad day at the office today by their standards! I will say that Huddlestone is impressing me more & more recently, hopefully he can keep it up.
Don't see the connection. He scored goals but that doesn't detract from the fact that he was regularly fairly ****e for much of many games & sometimes a lazy **** during many games. This doesn't mean he was ****e or a lazy ****.
Y eah it ain't as easy has some people think ( Sunderland last year ) as an example We do struggle when teams get players sent off
not a huge error by Bruce but I think he should be seeing that in the second half QPR are gunna get behind the ball and should really be bringing meyler off for aluko or ramirez at half time,
I can! but I can also count the number of crosses that Elmo & Brady crossed into the keepers hands. when you have jela & n'doye in the box, you have to get it in the box I'm afraid, aim your cross for the penalty spot at least! give them something to go for
