Jelavic MOM, Hudds was much better. Very frustrated with Meyler and Livermores distribution- if Livermore could just pick a pass we would have got 3 or 4 in the game today

Your anti-Meyler agenda has nothing to with that, does it?

He also made some poor passes, which didn't connect. So he gave the ball away.

We got 3 valuable points and that is the most important thing. The poster who thought QPR classier than us even with ten men must be living in some parallel universe where petty fouling, diving, complaining about every decision and general thuggery is a sign of "class".

I agree. Huddlestone is great passing across himself or backwards, but passing/crossing into the penalty area for instance he is often far from accurate, and that puts an end to attacks.

Tommy showed he can get stuck in today as well as his passing game. We struggled as the forwards were too often looking for quick long balls over the top, when we needed more short passes to break them down.

Brady was cack, aside from the assist he contributed the square root of **** all.

Meyler wasn't bad, he certainly wasn't a showstopper and there was a moment when he should have shot and instead chose to play in Livermore with a **** pass, but I've seen worse performances from him. I'd still have Quinn in there ahead of him, mind.

We didn't look particularly good today. Too slow and ponderous again in the build up.

Still. A win is a win is a win.

Jelavic - how important has this bloke turned out to be to us?
Dawson - how important has this bloke turned out to be to us?
Elmo - I'm not going to repeat the obvious.

I'm excusing the performance by saying that in these games, the result is everything. Teams are scrapping for their lives, and - much as it may be a tired cliche - there are going to be no easy games from here on in. Even QPR, a team famously populated by mercenary fannies, were absolutely up for it today.
