It's not a given that abuse will motivate him. Different player will react differently. People with character would be motivated by fan's abuse, probably. Little rodents like Lallana will probably try to hide somewhere underground.
He's not though, he is just a Joe Allen the 2nd. Doesn't necessarily do anything bad, but offers nothing good either. Paid massive amounts for both players who are realistically worth £5-10m
Is there a slight possibility that Brenda hasn't played him often enough? He IS quality (and I don't like admitting that) and I believe you just haven't got the best out of him. Now Lovren? Thanks for the money
I disagree. How many games do you give 100% support to the team? For a start you spend a lot of the games defending the refs instead of supporting the team Boos may motivate him; they may affect his game. Neither you or I know what they will do.
I sometimes forget Lovren is even at the club. Shambolic defender, so much so, that we play a very good young German midfielder at the back.
I'll also add Tom that being angry towards him may make me sing more and more loudly than normal.... That's giving note support. You can choose not to boo - no problem, but you can't tell us how that will be more or less beneficial for the team. You're just guessing.
We know. Thanks for the £20m On Lallana, Rogers need to play him for 12 games in a row. If he had pre-season next season and starts the first games without being left out every other game, you'll be back saying how good he is.
So a constant chorus of booing and chants of "**** off Lallana" or something will benefit the team? I can't see how it will TBH.
Point missed. Do you think it will be 90 minutes constant? No, of course not. He'll get some **** and some boos but most the noise will be for the team. You are looking at it very narrow.
Tom,I'm with fats on this one I believe the feeling toward the two tossers will get the crowd going generally. It certainly will me.
Mind you they could win the Europa League and get into the Champions League that way, thus depriving the team in 4th of a Champions League should they finish in a lower position. I stand to be corrected but I have a feeling that no more than 4 participants are allowed into the CL from the same association.
It's pantomime guys, relax. It's not *actual* hatred. It's fun (in the main. People who are simmering away with anger at some young wally who went to Liverpool need counselling).
A loud crowd makes for a better experience and gees up our players too remember! What Liverpool have given us is a pantomime rival so it'll be a cracking atmosphere tomorrow. Boos, cheers, shouts and songs. Enjoy it!
http://www.90min.com/posts/1885241-...iverpool-s-trip-to-southampton?utm_source=RSS I like the bit where Brenda says. "We know it's going to be a tough game, but we know that we have the tools to go to any team and win and play well."
I'm not so sure, I'm reading some actual hatred here. I'll be right in with the pantomime boos but I'm not going to forget all the good stuff for a few misplaced comments which were more meant for Liverpool fans than us.
Actual hatred? Really? As in you'd go and abuse the man in the street if you saw him? That's silly. It's a game, he's an overpaid exponent of the game. He's also possibly a wally who is beautifully cast as the panto villain. I'll boo because it's fun and adds to the whole lark. But does my simmering hatred of Adam Lallana keep me up at night. Umm.....no.
