You have to adapt and embrace the current situation: Embrace the fact that we have a young rookie manager (for 6 months/6 years, who knows?). Embrace the fact that Bony has gone and for the rest of the season we aren't going to score much. Embrace the probability that Gomis will be our striker for the rest of the season and that although he's not hitting the back of the net, we trust he's still trying his hardest. Embrace the likelihood that this season could tail off due to the last two above and the anticipation of hitting 50 points is becoming less likely. Embrace the likelihood that with money in the bank and the fact that we didn't do a panic buy in January, the club will do good business and the summer and our scoring capability will improve again for next season. Man Utd are in town - that will always give me a buzz whatever the situation.
As there is a lot of embracing going on, embrace the fact that the Yanks have gone home!........ please log in to view this image
"I am not here to be average or have players perform averagely...I don't want that. I want to stand on the sidelines and be excited by what I see from my team, and players want to be excited by the football they play. The fans want to be excited too. That is the plan but getting there is a process and not instant." – GARRY MONK, SWANSEA MANAGER
Interesting! Swansea v Manchester United (15:00 GMT) Posted at 14:12 Swansea City manager Garry Monk has sprung a surprise by switching to a new diamond midfield formation, making two changes from the 2-0 defeat to West Brom. Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson returns from suspension in place of Jefferson Montero while Wayne Routledge comes in for Nathan Dyer and will sit just behind striker Bafetimbi Gomis
"They'll be back",as the saying goes, and when those Sherman Tanks come rumbling up The Kingsway, you'll be singing a different tune.
From BBC Sport. Back in August,"The Welsh side were the uninvited guest who causes an unsavoury rumpus before sauntering out as everyone else is left in stunned silence. After having drank all the free booze,of course".
If he is experimenting with his 4-4-2 nonsense again, then we will get hammered, I hope he isn't going to be that stupid..........
Emnes on the bench? hope Monk uses him today, he and Siggy are our only real goal threat at the minute...............
I've got a really entertaining game Bob, one that may amuse you and it goes like this. Normal people can make bets on how many words you write before you make a sly dig at Monk. I'm thinking 1 in 10. Games on and I'm off to support my team bob, maybe there's a 50's romance on bbc2 to entertain you.
