Not really. If someone like nugent gets abuse at St Mary's, lallana deserves a lot more than ex-Pompey players get

 

Why? Lallana acted like a twat for a few months but at the end of the day he gave us 7 years committed service. Nugent is just a twat full stop.

To be honest bud, if you don't understand why everyone hates him then I won't be able to explain it to you.
It's mostly about respect, and the fact that we all thought he was a saints legend, when in actual fact he is no better than someone like Dani Osvaldo. It's not the fact he left us - it's the lies, the dishonesty and the embarrasing self-entitlement. The guy is a complete helmet.

 

Well, you waste your time abusing him, I'M going to support the team. What's going to hurt him more, booing and abuse he won't care about or losing? Hmmm, tricky one that.

 

Oh I won't shout at him to the point it detriments the team. Just when it's appropriate. The team comes first obviously

I would imagine that there's a strong chance that it will. As Tom says, some fans are putting one summer over seven years. I'd have no issue with Lallana wanting to stick two fingers up to those fans (who make themselves heard vocally) by trying to score the winner.

 

A lot of anger towards Lallana here. I dislike him too, but more because he was a massive waste of money and just so so average.
Best for both parties if he doesn't play, no abuse for him and a better performance from us.

 

I don't mind him trying to score the winner, as he'll slice it ten yards wide.

 

I dislike Liverpool more because of the comments that Brenda Rodgers made more than Lallana and the others leaving. If our ex players had stayed we probably wouldn't have bought the players we did and we probably wouldn't be sitting in 4th place now. If we were fighting relegation I might have a different view.

 

I'm not sure you get that choice. I reckon you either give him the clap or you don't.

OK, but you can't give the team 100% support if you're full of anger and hate towards an opposing player. And the boos and abuse are just going to motivate him more. Completely counter productive.
