Gomis is no Bony for sure. We got 25 million for Bony, but it feels like we're at least 25 million worse off as well. Money isn't everything.
United are a different proposition now compared with the season opener, when The Swans' caught them cold at Old Trafford. Monk was blessed with good luck that day. I can't see The Swans' scoring,so 0-2,but if Utd. are on fire, then another 0-5 wouldn't surprise me. Happy to be proved wrong, however.
lol I like your way of thinking, hope we win 2-1 but somehow I cannot see it with that clown up front
Just seen on sky that we have scored the least in the league from set pieces. Just 14%, maybe that is a good thing as we score from open pay or we used to. Why are we so bad from set plays, I always say to my mate at games cant get excited at corners as we just simply don't score from them. Maybe today will change that. By the way Man utd have conceded from set pieces more than any other team in the league (yes even moe than us) 46% of their goals conceded have come from set pieces. Sounds like a 0-0
No excuses today. Man Utd are very poor but somehow in third. Monk has stated he's had an extended period to work n our attacking game so I'm hoping we throw the kitchen sink at them with full side today. I won't be bothered if we lose today, it's the performance that is important today. Said that, play like we know this side should be playing and Gomis pulls his head out of his arse, we could win this today.
Like so many times this season I'm actually not looking forward to going this afternoon. Is it just me? Time for our team to prove us wrong and put in a performance that gets us smiling again. Here's hoping.
can I have your ticket just for one game Mrs Miggins please, I have enough on my credit card for one quick trip to the Liberty
For anyone who contends we are becoming a long-ball team, here's some stats on the BBC website for your consideration: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31428316
We're going to win today...no I've not been at the crystal meth (and there is nothing in our game at the mo to warrant such optimism). It's just that sort of day.
