Possibly, but we're looking at practical locations for the existing banner in the existing stand. I don't see importing Polish fans would help that.

I agree. As have others. That's a separate issue though.

I don't think it's as dramatic as that, plus there's the logistics of getting it up and down.

When I saw the people at the ground, they said their preferred option was under the control room, failing that, they offered the spaces at the back of the stand. They were keen for the gaps to be filled in. I've no reason to doubt they offered that in good faith.

It was in later discussions they had with the structural engineers that the stresses on the stadium were raised. I wasn't party to these talks, but it seems there are solutions, but they have cost implications.

The club haven't ruled out those spots for the banner, but it's easier for now to put it where it is.

I suggest you throw your considerable weight around & build a frame of two uanding poles or bracket in which to elevate in to the structures.

If you have suggestions on how to improve things, put them to the club. From my experience, they're more than willing to listen.

Post some drawings of what you mean, and how it fits with the existing structure and I'll put it to the club.

The club are keen to help, but I doubt they can move the whole stadium abroad and still be part of the Prem.

When Siemens start turbine production. Do you think in the off season The club could erect 20 of those turbine height structures that act as a flag pole & then the fans could exhibit banners/ flags high enough yo be seen within the ground.

I reckon one planted on the centre circle, one on each corner flag and one on each penalty spot would give excellent coverage. We could string lines in between to hang additional banners from.

It could bring in income when the game's not on if we took in washing to dry hanging off the lines.. <ok>

Hahaha Dutch. Quick witted Smartarse. The minds eye is thinking outside of the ground, but high enough to see them. The support of the stock piece would be strong enough in high winds. Picture 20 or so flag poles. With flags billowing out Full Size.
