Is it too much to ask for a fair refereeing performance? We weren't playing well no doubt, and to be fair matic should have been sent off. BUT how did barnes not get carded for trying to break our best players leg? How is it fair that he geta fouled reacts and now WE are at a disadvantage? Should have been 10 men each every time. also we should have had 2 pens, but hey ho it Happens every other game so its almost accepted now. absolutely shocking performance by that referee. Any fine or suspension matic gets should be doubled and applied to both him and barnes.

You meant Matic. So you have never seen Roy keane et al play ? That is yellow at best for Matic. Zouma could have restrained Matic- lack of experience there. Can we appeal and get red reduced to one match ban? Surely that would be fair. If the ref had dealt with the bad challenge and sent him off, Chelsea 1-0 against 10 men, different result guaranteed. Fortunately we have a lead so Manc-lover Martin Atkinson should not cost us the title
