    <laugh><ok>

Not too worried about scoring past you with Lucas out, more worried about getting caught on the break with all the pace you have, at least you will come to win the game though compared to our last 2 home games against Swansea n West Ham. I can't see you sitting back which will play into our hands(hopefully) <ok>

I wouldn't. We need the three points (and to make up the ground to Saints).

Think you underestimate us a bit. We've been much more solid over the last couple of months and now have key attacking players returning to form/ from injury.

I would like balotelli to Start on the bench. He very often sets the tone for the team and if he is casual the whole team does the same. Putting on the bench gives an opportunity to change things later in the second half and he can have more space when the opposition is getting tired.

One thing is certain we cannot afford to lose this game. Potentially meaning 7 points behind the saints, 5 and 6 behind Spurs Arsenal and the mancs if they win. We will run out of matches to catch the challengers.

We will rely on the Europa but it is KO and anything could happen.

This is sensible I think... I think we will catch southampton if we can get out of this with a draw but if we lose we are ****ed

I'd take that draw as they are up to full strength

They are one trick so it's up to us to cope with that.... First goal might well win

We certainly have the firepower to score and will probably have equal/more of the ball with our current formation... Scared of Tadic and the pace of Clyne, Elia and Long on the break.

    -----------------------------Mig
    -----------Can-----------Skrtel-----------Sakho
    Markovic--------Hendo-------Allen---------Moreno

is basically a given unless Ibe keeps his place. Interesting how we line up in attack. Lallana could drop out for Balo and we have Sterling back. Sturridge has to start, Coutinho will most likely play but needs a rest... Would personally like

    ---------------------Sterling
    --------Sturridge------------Balo

Realistically our front three will be very fluid regardless. Sterling will move out left when he wants, Balo tends to drift, Sturridge can come inside and seems to be dropping deep in this formation more and more - quite like what Luis did.

As much as Balotelli has done well from the bench, there's no way he should start as it changes the fluidity of our front line. Great to bring him off the bench if required.

I don't know if Shneiderlin and Wanayama are fit? If they are we need Can in midfield to compete with them.

Both are fit. Wanyama has been fit for a while and Morgan's been back in training this week.

  12. Childish and petty about what? Brod's already said Mario was the penalty taker.

I wouldn't start Mario purely because he'll stop trying once he's back in the staying eleven.

Tadic has been crap for a while now and may well be on the bench. He can be lethal from the left but is way off form currently, and keeps getting played right. I'd be a LOT more scared of Mané than Tadic if I were you.

We're not quite full strength as the excellent Alderweireld is still out.

    ---------------Migs
    ----Toure---Skrtel---Sakho
    Ibe----Can----Henderson----Moreno
    -------Sterling---Coutinho
    ------------Sturridge

Imo we need more muscle in midfield then, I'd go Can and Hendo and drop Allen. Lovren then into the back 3 which gives you lot something more to Boooooooooo!!!!

Big chance to pull within 2 pts of top 4 and have the likes of United and Saints shaking a bit.

Have Coutinho, Lallana and Mario on the bench and only introduce them as both teams begin to tire.
