Lallana hasn't learned when to shut up and play football....knob is making things worse for himself by winding up the Saints fans. He needs to watch how The Ox behaves when at SMS, take the boo's and whistles without reaction, play well and come over and applaud the Northam and the applause breaks out. Don't go to the press that helped you cause such a disturbance last summer to help you force a move to Anfield....you are making things worse
I read the article. I don't see anything bad in what he said. Actually appeared quite modest. And I doubt he went to the press begging them for an interview, most probably the other way round. Of course he could have refused. Also, having listened to Morgan talking about him, well I was about to say, I won't be booing him, but who am I kidding
As long as Rickie gets a great reception im happy. I think its important we show players who leave on amicable terms that we hold them in the highest regard. What message does it send to players ie Morgan if one moment they are worshipped and the next hated. If we want players to develop a good bond with the club we cannot appear completely fickle.
Think Morgan has escaped by staying for (at least) one extra season...we've got used to the idea and will hardly cry at all
I'd like to think that after this weekend, all this name-calling and hatred can finally be laid to rest (especially if we win), but unfortunately I really doubt it. I know I'll be in the minority, but I'll be giving Adam a little clap tomorrow.
Lallana's grasp of the importance of this match is summed up in this interview with Liverpool's Official site: "It's a massive game at the weekend because we can go level on points with them..." Er, no, unless the game is now worth four points.
Minority is an understatement. I will never stop hating him for as long as he plays. You're entitled to your opinion, but Ive never disliked a football player as much as I dislike Adam lallana. I'm not normally one to abuse former players, as in the main I can understand why people would want to move on to bigger things. But lallana, as our captain, was horrendously in the wrong, and is the epitomy of everything I dislike about modern footballers. He behaved like an utter, utter ****er and deserves abuse.
