Quite a sad portrayal of football supporters when some actually appear happy this has happened.

The only trait this shares with Terry's saga is that it's race related. One is a video of fans proudly chanting how racist they are, the other is one man denying that he was being racist, who was coincidentally found not guilty in a court of law. I think it's laughable people are criticising Chelsea for defending one but condemning another.

 

So.....what do you think Chelsea FC should do?
Sack him? On the back of a stupid ****ing FA ruling that fined him on the probability of his guilt?
Thats not being found guilty.
I think a court of law supersedes a football governing body.

Since 2007 Australia keeps suspending it's race discrimnation act, they do it so they can legally evict aborigines off their land, with the usuall 'they have *****phile rings' so beloved of facists. They then sell the land and pocket the money, the now homeless children get put into 'care' and are usually never seen again, and none of the 'fair dinkum' do anything about it, because racism is what they voted for.

That's racism (or probably closer to facism and nazism). Where's the outrage?

 

OK, I know a QPR supporter bringing a sense of balance to this is out of character, but let's have a go...

Terry was acquitted in the civil case, where there's a heavy onus on the prosecution to prove 'beyond reasonable doubt' that toe offence took place with the intent suggested. That is something that the prosecution didn't do, in the eyes of the judge. So Terry was rightly acquitted of the civil charge.

Terry was found guilty of the FA charge of bringing the game into disrepute, by using offensive and abusive language towards Ferdinand that included a reference to race and/or colour. The FA work on the balance of probability, meaning that, to their satisfaction, Terry DID say the words with the meaning implied in all likelihood. They imposed an industry-specific punishment (the ban and fine). Terry and Chelsea did not appeal this, which in some people's eyes gives a little more weight to the FA ruling.

The current situation only relates to the Terry/Ferdinand situation in that it has a race element and the club most connected with the incident is Chelsea. Aside from this, the two matters are entirely different and should not be connected, if we wish to have sensible debate.

Chelsea fans on this forum have rightly condemned the incident, and also from what I have seen have condemned any attempt by anyone to belittle, condone or justify the event in Paris.

Let's just work together to get this abhorrent behaviour out of ALL clubs, shall we?

 

Its not about racism for HRIMF its about hating on Chelsea football club because he supports a club that is miniscule in comparison in every way, and he wants to get his voice heard.
My guess...he has never spoken out about race issues in his life until Chelsea FC were "implicated".

he's just bitter because I produced reams of evidence to back my case and he tied himself in knots with his opinions and hilarious failures at basic math. He's now adding the word 'all' which didn't appear anywhere.

As usual with these types it was a thread about the behaviour of another team, whereby the horse was immediately unstabled and made ready for a long sitting. Unfortunately they didn't bother doing a single bit of research and shouted down anyone who did bother and printed what they found.

I had a fun few days beating them in the face with their stupidity until I got bored and decided to cross intellectual swords with a more worthwhile opponent, the 10 yr old next door, even he knows the population of the world couldn't possibly be a negative number.
