Hull City were subsidising, through a long standing arrangement with the SMC, every FC home game to a tune of £40k. I hear this has since been stopped. Probably one of the reasons the SMC was running at a loss. I think it was lambrettaman on here who verified that. I would have thought the Allam's didn't want to subsidise the RL testimonial at the KC which is why it didn't take place. If some people had their way the KC would be in use 24/7 hosting all sorts of finals from kids to womans football with two men and a dog in attendance with someone else picking up the bill.
Had a look at the FC board they seem to think the loss Allam's way of forcing them out the KC. They quoted Happy's and Newland's post on there board. I find it a bit weird they have a 32 page thread on there about City.
Kinell I'm famous now. They really refuse to acknowledge what's in front of them don't they? Guess it must suck knowing without Dr Allam, and without us, they'd be unable to even put games on ffs.
To be fair as City fans we don't trust him as far as we could throw him either but know while he's got so much money tied up with us he won't do anything drastic. FC fans on the other hand know he dislikes their club/owner and is petulant enough to make life difficult for them. He's already denied them access to the pitch for practice, charged them to hang their pictures and denied them access to certain suites on match days. Now he's used some creative accounting to make it appear that FC are the reason the council get no income from the stadium. I don't agree with all they are saying on that forum but they do have a right to be concerned.
City aren't allowed to train on the pitch. As for charging for pictures that was an agreement made when Pearson had the SMC. City had been paying but FC hadn't. Allam merely started to ask them to pay for something they had agreed to. The accounting isn't creative it merely reflects what is happening. But don't let your rugby club paranoia stop you posting nonsense.
It wasn't a long standing arrangement, the Allam's introduced the charges two years ago, it was just a way to piss off AP... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Alla...wake-Hull-FC/story-18155255-detail/story.html
Reading that FC haven't done badly out of things. A lot of them arranged by AP who FC fans thoughtless the devil incarnate when he was City chairman. Reading the comments on there only reinforces the impression they have a lot of fans who paranoid and not the brightest.
Have you read the 33 pages of ****e about Hull City and the Allams on the Hull FC fans forum? 33 pages and counting!!!!!! According to one of them our average home attendance over the last six years is 16,000. The last 16,000 crowd I can remember was on a Tuesday night v Coventry in 2007. Another gem 'Its a well known fact that RL fans buy more beer at the KC then football fans' ???? Is it ? I lost count of the posters wanting to see us relegated. What a set of pricks.
City's average for the last 6 seasons- Hull City A.F.C. average attendances Season League Attendance 2013–14 Premier League 24,116 2012–13 Championship 17,368 2011–12 Championship 18,790 2010–11 Championship 21,168 2009–10 Premier League 24,390 2008–09 Premier League 24,816 That is a total of 130,648. Which divided by six is 21,774 average per season. You would have thought the Hull fan could divide by six, that being the number of fingers on each hand that he will have. Three of those seasons were in the second tier. I wonder what FC would have after 3 years in the second tier let alone the crowds we had in the third and fourth tier, something rugby league doesn't run to. As for beer, I'll bet more is sold at a City game. Admittedly looking at the size of a lot of the rugby fans you can believe they drink a lot of beer. As for their husbands and boyfriends...
A fair bit more beer as sold at FC games. Hardly surprising, the bar is open all game and you can drink in your seat.
I don't know the numbers and my daughter is a concourse manager at the KC, so I wouldn't post them even if I did know them.
