"I think Sneijder will join united" "It could be a similar case to Cesc Fabregas joining Barcelona" So which one is it? Last time I checked Fabregas isn't anywhere near joining Barcelona and it looks like yet another summer of plenty of talk but nothing actually happening. Not too bothered about what talkSH*TE claim anyway, they have all the credibility of caughoffside
not far off..but there's no smoke without fire and these rumours have refused to go away for the past 2 years
persistently? over 2 years? when asked about joining united earlier in the summer he replied with "we shall see"...it looks like we've registered our interest and hes aware of it..we might go for the cheaper option with nasri though can't understand why we didnt take a gamble when he was at madrid
Because he wasn't the worlds best attacking midfielder when he was at Madrid and they decided to sign Kaka to replace him. He's now far superior to Kaka though.
we've never signed someone when they're currently the best in the world in their position. we make players, we don't tend to bring them in when they're top of their game
There might be something to this rumour. Just that the 'no smoke without fire' proverb is garbage. Most transfer stories are just made up by the media And yes we should have gone for him when Madrid wanted to get rid of him. It wasn't even much of a gamble, he was available for a small fee and he actually did well for Madrid when he played. Guess he just wasn't famous enough for Perez. Mourinho pulled off a piece of fantastic business there.
thats because its not an argument. its a statement of stupidity. apparently we should stick with carrick and giggs.not old or off the pace or trying to slow everything down.
How dare we buy a 27 year old playmaker. Didn't we just have one til he was 36? He is class, I don't see why he can't be class for years to come.
He is good at playing killer passes and long shots (a bit like Lampard), in a 442 a midfielder does not have licence to get forward that much as they have to do much more defensive work and so he has less opportunity to make an impact. When you put purely offensive midfielders in more defensive positions it limits their game. Look at Lampard at the world cup for instance.
