I guess the idea is that Chadli or Eriksen can get a goal here, and Kane can get what we need away. Well, not what I would have done, in a year when Pochettino has tended to pick teams I've agreed with/and/or picked myself. I do admire the fact that this year continues to depend on the whole squad. Picking all first elevens to play against Lower Swabovia FC is something I never liked. Picking a mostly second choice team against a side that's just about exactly as good as we are, and on a great run to boot, on the other hand, well...
I almost think it might be better to have the away leg tonight. Send a strong team out there, if we get a few goals then play them again against West Ham and then rest for a week ahead of the cup, if we don't then rest for the West Ham game and take two big games in 4 days. Anyway, it is what it is. Any word on Yedlin? I know he's been away in the last few weeks and got injured with the USMNT and that might explain why he hasn't been in any of the training pics and not in the squad tonight either. Thought it wasn't too serious though. I'm also quite surprised not to see Stambouli in the squad at all tonight as I'd rate him as more capable than Paulinho, unless he has a knock too of course.

Thanks for that. The worse thing is that I do have BT Sport (technically) but I can't get it to work! Keeps saying I have a problem with silverlight, even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple of times. I even ended up watching a poor BT sport feed via the net for the Liverpool game because I couldn't get a service I should have. Of course it's my fault for not sorting the thing out, but it only seems to occur to me to do so for the odd Spurs game.
