    He doesn't do much on the ball bar maintain possession with his crab football. He's not creative or a threat when attacking. He not the greatest tackler or defensive minded player either. But he does have a couple of assets that I love; great work ethic and I think he's our best player for pressing the opposition too.

    Not good enough for Liverpool IMO but best option we have right now bar Hendo and Lucas.

    Edit: and Can but we need him at the back if Toure isn't available

    Game just shows how weak we are in midfield.

    Lose Lucas & Gerrard and we have no replacement CM to go on the bench.

    Next year we'll be without Gerrard and possibly Lucas if rumours of him going to Italy are to be believed so assuming Can moves into midfield, we still need 2 more first team midfielders..

    We have two defenders on the bench meaning Can move forward.

    Quite annoying that our current best performing CM is having to play RCB

    What does Balo actually have to do to earn a start? Disappointed, but not surprised at all by that line up. Still, pretty good and could've been a lot worse (eg Johnson). Good to see Ibe back in.
