    I would have thought it was more a reflection on a specific group of racist young men, whatever their pastimes. I never encounter racism at football these days but I still hear plenty of it away from football, so I'm not certain that football is really a factor.

    My gut feeling is that there is a hidden undercurrent of racism in the UK, which just surfaces in a football scenario, and this incident hasn't sparked that either. Individually, people nod their heads in acquiescence, racism is bad, etc.., but get them under the cover of a gang situation and the truth comes out. Yes, there may have been Chelsea fans caught up in the tube train, who we saw, who weren't part of that behaviour, but that's probably more me making allowances than actual numbers. As I said before, I'd find them and ban them, every last single one.

    Rubbish. Presumably non-league football and the NFL will continue, so I'd have nothing to watch when it's their off season.
