I was in town earlier to go to my barbers. I mean to go and meet up with RHC's youngest to plan our trip to Uruguay now that she's been put off the landscape gardener and Guatemala. And who did I walk past outside Liverpool One??

You guessed it. None other than former Anfield superstar and LFC legend Charlie Adam.

I had to go up to him. So I said 'Either you're Charlie Adam or you'd make the best lookalike for him.'

Charlie says 'I'm no lookalike.'

I said 'Nice to meet you mate but I wish we'd signed the lookalike'

Then I walked of fairly quickly. He had a little smile at that though.

He must have been in town to meet up with old mates.
