According to his agent, Doni will join us today. I think it looks increasingly likely he will come to us, but for the life of me I don't understand why. What is the point in having 3 or 4 really good young goalkeepers in the reserves and U18s if we're not going to use them? Either way, he's got experience and if anything does happen to Reina, we can probably rest a bit easier knowing Doni has experience at the top levels of football. With the addition of Doni, Adam and Henderson - how many more players do you think will come in and what positions will they cover? I think... A LB, quite possibly Enrique but Cissokho is also a possibility. A LW, Downing seems to be the one we're going for, and unfortunately I think we'll get him. A backup striker, most probably a French or English one considering Kenny and Comolli's expertise. I wouldn't like to guess who though. That'll be 6 signings this year, all quality and who are proven - makes a nice change from Rafa's reign, but we can be quite sure of no surprises which is a shame and something I looked forward to during Rafa's period.
I reckon there will be a minimum of 3 more. A left back a winger a striker and a centre back. However I reckon there will be also a minimum of 3 departures and that doesn't include Degen and El Zhar or Jovanovic,I reckon both El Zhar and Degen will follow Jova in being released.I've a feeling Joe Cole,Poulsen and Konchesky will be departing.

Gulacsi is coming to Hull and will be the first choice keeper for next season. The deal should be completed by next week; the main topic of conversation over our end is will a certain Daniel Ayala be joining along with Gulacsi??
I'm not so sure, we have an abundance of young defenders at the moment; Wisdom, Wilson and Kelly can all play CB. Kelly is already highly rated, Wisdom seems to be a better prospect than Ayala in my opinion and Wilson already has lots of experience with Rangers, so it will be difficult for Ayala to get a game with us. I suspect he may go on a 6 month loan to another side next season, which side I'm not too sure.
We're very keen to take him, looked a class apart in the Championship when he was with us for a bit last season. Kelly played a few games for you, and looked very impressive, so he should play a bit more for Liverpool next year. Derby are chasing Ayala I think, but the rumour going round is that the player himself would prefer to join us. Not biased or anything, just what I've heard
