    Scudamore won't do anything because he can't. Until 0 hour contacts are sorted out by the government there's **** all that can be done.

    It's the government's job to increase the minimum wage. Not employers jobs to pay more than they need to, to meet a suggested living wage.

    Would be nice to see the players give back a bit more than they do to everyday people but that's not going to happen.

    One of the lines in there is "It would take these staff 13 years to earn as much as some top players earn in a week!"

    Sorry but on £7.85 an hour it'd take an awful lot longer than 13 years to earn £200k unless you work 100 hour weeks!!

    £7.85 x 38 = £298.30

    £298.30 x 52.14 = £15,553

    £15,553 x 13 = £202,189

    22.5 years on minimum wage at the current rate to earn what Rooney earns in a week (£350k).

    Would take me 8 years, although I have a nice head of hair so that makes things even <laugh>

    I think I'm correct in saying that Chelsea do actually pay the living wage to all their staff (and are the only club that do)
