Thanks for posting again JFB! By the way, Jose, you don't need to call the thread the Official Match Thread as we've got the red Match Thread prefix to stick on it. I've changed it to the date of the game as I usually do, because it makes it easier to find if you should ever want to look it up in the future when it's dropped off the front page.
“Football is a fickle game, and if I get the jeers and the boos I will just take it that they (the Saints fans) miss me, they miss me playing down there. Big headed, full of himself, ****er. Lallana is a dick.
Agreed, proper ****. You know what to do Vic... The best thing to do will be to win convincingly, and all but end their CL hopes. Then we can sing the song in my sig to him, Lovren and BR.
Get this game over with, boo him if you must and then move on. Be a bit cathartic. I have moved on myself, because success is the best revenge. The only sentence that offends in his interview is the bit about us missing him, but he is right on one level...his leaving upset us the most because we loved him and he promised to love us...only the ones you love can really hurt you. Apart from Lovren (because he was totally disrespectful), Lallana is the only one that is still raising hackles because we never thought he'd leave.
See Clattenberg disallowed a Porto goal under advice from lino Friend...who is officiating on Sunday. Correct decision as it turned out.
Lucas is a big miss for Liverpool, or so my Liverpool supporting mates tell me. Don't rate him much myself, but they seem to think this new found defensive solidity in Liverpool is down to Can in the middle of a back three defence and Lucas in front of them. That's why they we're not as convincing defensively in the last couple of games, due to Lucas' absence.
Yes, read this earlier myself. So he's got some inkling at last. In all honesty it might get embarrassing for him. I've not got much affection for Shaw or Chambers either, to be fair. Both were out the door the first chance they got. Those chances would have come again as well, at 23. My ill feeling is mollified by the fact that we have superior players in their places, and so it is with Lallana, to a certain extent. But Adam was really taken to Saints fans hearts like no other. He promised to stay. He wanted to end his career at Saints. Then one stint in an England shirt changed all that. In my opinion, all 4 of the English players were tapped up. Lovren is just a jerk.
Yep. And no better way to do so than by beating the scousers on Sunday. (Lallana is still going to get dog's abuse from the Northam though).
I just feel "meh" now. I didn't find that interview big headed. He obviously still has respect for us.
