No it's someone in denial claiming it wasnt an act of racism. He could be any fan, that's irrelevant. Quite ironic as a chelsea fan, who are taking great pains to explain this isnt about club loyalties that you're now turning this into a debate about United vs Liverpool when we agree the whole topic is nonpartisan.

Christ it was a joke! Because it was a Liverpool fan arguing with a United fan....lighten up!! And to be honest, I didnt really read the posts, once I read LFC_45's first post I immediately saw it for the drivel that it was and skimmed through the rest.

Racism has always been a casual issue for Chelsea. They try and use it to their advantage when it suits them - see Clattenburg allegations for which the club should have received a severe punishment - and they have not done enough over the years to eradicate it from their hardcore fan base. Difficult for them to now profess to be morally outraged. You can't support a racist Captain Leader Legend and then condemn the fans who supported the racist Captain Leader Legend for being racist.
Staggering. These people are really in existence. Anyway, **** that idiot. The bottom line here is that Chelsea need to make a statement because, like it or not, they were Chelsea fans. I know it could have been any club and I know it could have been a stag do with a bunch of pissed up imbeciles and it could have happened anywhere but in this instance, they were Chelsea fans.

The club have made a statement condemning the idiots and cooperating with police. Also to ban those responsible.
