I hear Clive Anderson bought that some years ago and gave it as a gift to the Gibb Brothers They were always The Tossers in his mind.....
I've just remembered, I had MY 1 for a couple of weeks until the bloke I bought my car from transferred it to his new one. He wanted £50k to leave it on the car.
Don't be so sure tickles... I have a DB9 & it's the most unreliable car I've ever owned. It was my dream car & feel totally let down. It is beautiful though
In Alberta Canada it only cost about $200 to have a private plate. As long as you can give a good reason you can have just about anything! I've seen a car in Calgary with: HULL FC.
I'm great thanks mate, hope you are? As my company supply and maintain 2-way radios to most of the oil companies in Alberta and that the major projects take from 6-24months planning I'm still really busy! If the price of oil though stays as it is for the next 6 months then we could be in trouble, Saying that in the last 20 years or so there has been 3 times where the oil has dropped like this and my company has always come out the other side stronger! It's not been too much fun with the weather though working 300ft up a tower in -30C
My private plate is BRITIAN not sure how much that would be worth back in England but looking at some of them I'd say well over 20k
Who would be your favourite for VOM 1T? For me it'd be a close race between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Clarkson.
You can get personalized license plates pretty cheaply in the USA. In Oregon we could chose up to 7 characters (including a space or hyphen) that hadn't previously been taken or wasn't regarded as being offenive. The price has gone up since I was there, but it is still only $100 on top of the basic fee to get a car licensed. I had "HULLCTY" on mine.
Regardless of temperature, I would'nt fancy being 300 ft up a tower at any time. That would be worsened in Southern Sask because the bloody wind never ceases.
