Is there any priority member unable to go to Watford on 21st March who would be prepared to 'lend' me their qualifying number so that I could use it to buy a ticket for my son on the day they go on sale to silver members?

I was advised by the club earlier that I would need a second qualifying number to do this or wait till the tickets go on general sale if we wished to have seats together, and as this match will probably sell out I'd rather not wait till then.

If anyone can help out please pm me, I'd be very grateful.

    Thanks.

edit: Perhaps I should have made clear my problem is that whilst I am a silver member, my son isn't.

I'd imagine the South West supporters club will get a batch of tickets for this game - may be able to get you two extras.

    Nice one Westy!<ok>

I imagine the tickets for Watford will go on sale in about 10 days time, if the worst comes to the worst I might get my ticket on silver member day, then be on-line at 9am the day they go on general sale and get my son's, ok we won't be together during the match but that's not a major problem.

Will you be going? The pub to be in is The Moon Under Water on the High Street.

    Watford's a cracking day out! <ok>

I'd imagine I'll be going, only went once and we lost 2-1.

I cannot share the sentiment of "Watford's a cracking day out! " due to us always losing there!

" if worst comes to worst get mine on silver " - could be quite a hard game to get tickets for this. Allocation may be 1500 with them doing stand work, and we have 14000 season ticket holders I think after more signed up after xmas. Not a guarantee this!

Think we got about 2500 allocation last season, and we'll get the same this season, the stand work isn't on the Vicarage Road Stand where they put the away support. It made it to general sale last season, but yes, your right, the demand for tickets will be greater this year but I'm fairly confident that it will make it to silver.

I'd hate to be in a situation when on the 21st March my son, tears rolling down his cheeks, is standing on Northampton Station waving me off while I'm aboard the 11:10 to Watford Junction...;)<laugh>

When I was there last season that stand to the left of the Vicarage Road Stand looked like a demolition site, a real eyesore.
