is that before or after he has had a chat with his dog about the benefits of 442 against 4231 formation?
Apologies, "behaviour" was an insensitive word to use given that I appreciate that it is a cause for concern to you By behaviour, I just simply meant the way your club ensured that they were within the rules. Which as I say I got the impression (from limited info) was totally legitimate. I didn't mean "behaviour" in the pejorative sense. Just as in actions that Ipswich undertook. Bournemouth's "behaviour" was, as far as I know, equally legitimate and equally designed to ensure the rules were abided by. I get that some people support FFP, but as far as I'm concerned there shouldn't really be any sanctions because I'm totally opposed to it as it is, or at least certainly not the sanctions that are there at the moment (what is the sense in fining a club that is overspending??!?)
Well if you ask me this has all got far too sensible. Let's go back to suggesting Portman Road sponsors. I have another clothing brand as a suggestion: http://www.horseandhoof.eu/ Not sure whether they would pay more money than UpandUnder
So both Ippy and Bournemouth have both managed to stay within the rules but Forest and Leeds are ****ed?. Glad we cleared that up.
I would have to disagree with that statement, and I tell you for why... The FFP model if implemented correctly and adhered to would in fact make football a far better sport for it. There would no longer be clubs (ala QPR) who out muscle other in the transfer market. The gains for teams will be made through shrewd recruitment and quality of coaching, thus retaining more talented English players (and Managers) within English football. (Managers being a big gap in the workforce) The eventual knock on would be massive with more English players within the game, continuing their education at their clubs for longer. These clubs will then be able to sustain their success for a greater period of time, allowing teams like Yeovil, Brentford et al display their talents on a bigger scale through playing good football and not lose out because teams around then buy in their squad. In Summary: Football becomes about player development through high quality coaching and management rather the player value in the transfer market. I shall return my soap box into safe storage until such time that it is required again.
