Just seen that number plate that was sold at auction for £46,736, it's on a maroon Aston Martin. It was bought nearly two years ago, I'm surprised it's taken so long to come across it.
You know your life is going pretty well when you can spend the best part of 50k on something that is completely and utterly pointless that does nothing whatsoever. Unless the owner sees it an an investment of course, I cant see the value going down.
Allam bid £1000 less than the winning bid - just think if he'd been successful we might never have had this name change ****
Is that FACT? If he had won it then maybe you're right. Or perhaps he wanted to stop anyone else clinging on to the name Hull City...
Ah the personalised number plate. The thing that says you have more money than sense and want everyone else to know that. Yes, even the Allams do daft things on occasion.
Thanks. Interesting isnt it? If the name is "lousy, common and irrelevant" then why does he want it on his car?
Well if Allam gets his way Mr Friend of All the Managers the number plate won't have the same cachet.
So he lost out on the plate in March 2013, when did he apply to change the name of the club??? Surely not..............
