Not being rude mate but the topic is sound. I've put myself up as an example of how it feels to become 'older' and lose a little confidence in certain situations at matches involving Sunderland. That's based on 4 decades of support all over the country. Now if that isn't a decent topic then the one's about **** all should be wiped out. If the obsessed stalkers are allowed to dictate what's posted, on here, then the forum's not worth a light. If Wearside Pride, and his Mag buddy, are the essence of the forum then please direct me to their wonderful threads. I've put up a thread, and mocked myself, to encourage debate. If that's 'out of hand' then **** it, I'll clear off to RTG. Check WP's posts and see what percentage directly target me.
You made a good point but not in the best possible taste imo, i totally get it though, coz i was in a bunch of ****s that tipped a portsmouth car on its head with them in it in the 80's and they did **** all to deserve it, just getting home, would i do it now? no! Dunno where the bad taste comes in mate but fair enough. The thread was a bit 'tongue in cheek' as you probably realised and meant to stir up a bit of activity on here. It's been very quiet since the Bradford match. It certainly brought the stalkers out. Instead of posting threads, and making a worthwhile contribution to the forum, the likes of Wearside Pride prefer to come on specifically to make personal comments about my private life. Keeping that stupidity up from 9pm to nearly 2 in the morning is bordering on a manic obsession imo. But of course he'll come back another dozen times to claim he's not stalking me just as he always does. Most of his posts are either on my threads or in response to one of my posts. IMO, that's in much worse taste than posting a daft thread where I'm simply saying I'm not as young as I used to be. Times have changed, and so have I, for the better ............ if that's bad taste then I'll live with it

There was never an attempt to 'cover myself in glory' mate, my OP was having a pop at myself. I never put anyone on ignore, i think it's a bit childish tbh. I've come on to post a thread for debate, this sad stalker has come on for a 2 day attack on a stranger from the internet. He does it time & time again and has even admitted it on this thread.
People are allowed to write about what they know, so **** if it falls outside of your moral code? Would I wade into a pack of hooligans at a service station? No, I'm not that way inclined. People write about what they know. If you don't like reading about stuff you know **** all about, why dig a bloke out for it? Not a single person on here would physically go to Joe and tell him he's a chopper for writing about boxing, or taking pictures of people whilst hiding in bushes (that's what you do mate right?). Nobody digs Diddles or Marcus out if they chat about drums and guitars. Smug comes from a background in security, getting heavy handed with people as a profession (somebody has to do it) and has seen his fair share of violence. If you're inclined to interpret what he writes as him bragging, or acting like a school child trying to play the big man then that's your own prerogative. So **** if he's got a million and one **** stories, we all have. People going out their way to chat **** just because they have a moral agenda with the subject, it's ****ing pathetic.
