Need to thump Paris and make a statement, rather than huff & puff - then lose comprehensively in Semis to a class team. Would rather focus on PL like City. League is important!!
So are we concentrating on the league or looking to thump PSG?! Not really sure what your point is? We'll do well to come away with a draw or better tonight. PSG are no mugs and have a solid home record. With City also in the C.L and desperate to make their mark, there is no reason why we can't concentrate fully on these ties. City will do likewise against Barca so this round of C.L games should make no difference to the title race IMO. I'd be very happy with a score draw tonight. Ideally 2-2 or better.
My point is don't want to limp in CL. We need to make a statement if possible in CL. Or else just focus on PL.
I don't think making statements mean anything really. We could beat PSG 5-0 over 2 legs and it would make no difference to the next round. C.L is about getting through the ties ultimately as we found out in 2012 when we were outplayed in a few of those games but still won the thing.
And you know where we were in the league in 2012. I am just saying we don't spend too much effort in CL which is a lottery and miss out on a promising PL position. Would like to cruise through CL with little effort. That is my wish.

Another typical Mourinho away CL performance, grab a goal then shift in to first gear and say "ok lets see what you got now". They equalized, so now we take it to the Bridge, where we kill it......(hopefully )
I'd say more like 4...the Cavani chance he punted wide, the save + Ivan block, and Ibra header. (plus their goal ofc)
If anything Paris were super defensive with 2 lines of 5+4 defending in own half. Cavani spent more time in Paris final third than in our half. Cagey because Paris Parked their bus. After all they are home team. Bayern are held goaless in Ukraine, after their 8 goal win in Liga.
