This has been coming for a long time and I suspect that the failure to strengthen the squad in Jan will prove to be a lost opportunity. The only question I have now is can we hang on and get automatic promotion. Thought things were too good to be true.

    Only time will tell.

After Saturday's set back, the players have the perfect opportunity tomorrow and on Saturday to further bolster our position as league leaders and get another 6 points.

We've lost 2 games in 18 matches in all competitions since we lost at home to PNE, including the West Ham result.

We ain't doing too bad and there is no need for knee jerk reactions after one indifferent result !

In my opinion to which I an entitled we have been extremely fortunate to win 4 or 5 games at home this year whereas in previous seasons we would have lost them. We have not been playing as a top of the league team ever since the first 10 games or so. We are clearly deficient up front and seem to have lost the goals from midfield which bailed us out previously. While the table does not lie we have become stale and are apparently the best of a mediocre league. I do however hope we stuff the Boro tonight just to prove me wrong

You don't "hang on" to the automatics... If you're up there then you deserve to be

You are most certainly entitled to your opinion, but it still leaves me wondering what the hell you are watching?

Last nights game reminded me when Cotterell first started to turn them round last season. More a case of slowing it down if it's not on go back and start again with the ball.
Last night yes they ran around but I bet they were less tired than they have been with the rush forward game's previously.
And to be honest we played like that for the next 13 games when WE also went on a run last season in the second part bizarrely enough following a defeat to Sheff U so maybe it will happen for us as much as it does for Sheff Utd we will be up.
